USEFUL APPS IN TEACHING ENGLISH & OTHER SUBJECTS- part 4. This elaboration was inspired by knowledge gained during the course for ICT lovers- teachers from Europe: "ICT and Free Web Tools in Education” held in Lisbon, Portugal from 28th August to 1st September 2017. The mobility was held within the project „A step ahead” (Zespół Szkół No 1 in Stryków, Poland) and financed by European Union: European Social Fund, European Funds: Knowledge Education Development.
PREPARING THE LESSON
Class Tools offers over 30 simple tools and applications, like: widgets (widgets or gadgets, usually graphics to make websites more attractive, blogs, TwinSpace, etc.), applications for creating mini-games, captions, image galleries, imitations of popular social networking sites ( Fakebook and Twister), simple tools for timing and drawing, creating diagrams, timelines, and marking images.
Puzzlemaker application for creating a variety of puzzles and crosswords.
ORGANIZING, PLANNING, SCANNING Padlet is a kind of virtual whiteboard, where you can post various information such as web addresses, pictures, photos, posts, comments, etc. You can use it for presentations of teachers/students taking part in an eTwinning project.
