WATCHZONE e -commerce online store

ABOUT

WATCHZONE is a new online store selling watches, for all. Responsibility for this project: Design and management of UX and design process for WATCHZONE online store.

DESIGN CHALLENGE

create clear, customer-friendly online store for all - in the opposite of existing watches online stores, that are overloaded with ads and banners. Challenge was to create clear and easy journey, that everyone, as well as 16 y.o. and 58 y.o. can find it easily and friendly.

during work in Lionbridge I was creating technical user guides from concept to delivery (web and print production). My responsibilities was including creating concept and storyboards for user habits and probable moves.

Providing 2D and 3D illustrations - managing technical content including localization, drawings and illustrations.

this works had many challenges such as combining many languages for one scene, visually communicate a move or a danger without using a words.

The Global Service Jam is a non-profit volunteer activity organized by an informal network of service design afficinados, who all share a common passion for growing the field of service design and customer experience. Each year more than 1200 participants in more than 50 cities create around 200 unique service designs around the Secret Theme. In 2017 I have been a coordinator and mentor of local edition: Gdynia Service Jam.

During GSJ 2017 secret theme was: hello? lo? o? o.

Global Service Jam is addressed both to those for whom service design is everyday and those who will face this method for the first time. During the entire jam they were able to count on the support of experts and mentors who brought them to the topic, help them overcome the emerging obstacles and motivate in moments of doubt.

ABOUT

The aim of the workshop was to present useful design tools that designers can use in their everyday work. The topic of the 4-day workshop was designing simple medical devices. The workshop was targeted at young designers interested in medical devices.

the result of workshop were 2 functional prototypes: electronic toothbrush for people with tetraplegia and convex pen for blind people. After workshop, team with pen project was developing project during startup accelerator.

Gdynia Design Days

ABOUT

Gdynia Design Days is an annual design festival. During 7 weeks it offers many lectures, workshops, exhibitions.

My cooperator and I were invited to create a workshop for designers and constructors based on HCD approach, in the theme area of disability. The inspiration for us was performance artist Sue Austin, who since moving in a wheelchair, shows that the boundaries are only in our head, for example, by diving in a wheelchair. We talked with the workshop participants about the boundaries that mean something different for everyone. Each participant had the opportunity to sit in a wheelchair and try their hand at a short obstacle course. It turned out that for a person in a wheelchair already crossing the curb can be an extreme situation. After fruitful empathy, we went on to define the problem.

DESIGN CHALLENGE

Unsuitable beaches, wheelchair parents can not play with children, separate zones for disabled people in stadiums lead to isolation - these are only some of the problems that the participants of the workshops have solved.

Design Thinking for educators

ABOUT

The two-day workshop aimed to familiarize teachers with the Design Thinking methodology and to present available tools that they can use in their everyday work. Knowledge was passed in a practical way. Teachers had the opportunity to create a lesson scenario from scratch, which suits the needs of students and is able to interest them. We set a goal for the student to leave the class wondering â&#x20AC;&#x17E;I am curious, what will happen at the next lesson ..â&#x20AC;?. Starting from the needs of students, the teachers designed interesting experiences and ways to involve children during the lesson.

Design Thinking for scientists

ABOUT

During the training, the participants learned the Design Thinking methodology - design thinking, learned the 5 steps and assumptions, as well as objectives related to the implementation of the process. They got to know the functioning of the Double Diamond model, which is closely related to the DT process. This theoretical introduction allowed to use the content learned and translate it into practical exercises. The challenges concerned the interest and acquisition of a large business partner for a research project and the implementation of a new method of education at a university. As part of a brainstorming session, the participants presented their first associations related to the design challenge they had received, then they worked on the tool: Map of stakeholders.

The aim of the workshop was to understand the projectâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s environment and create a hierarchy of contact with the environment (entities) on which the functioning of the project depends, emphasizing the impact of individual entities on the effects of activities. This division allows to predict threats, see opportunities and establish hierarchies and channels of communication. The final effect of this workshop was to highlight the interaction in which the strongest threat with the subject may occur.

ABOUT

OPEN_MINDS is a 6-week design workshops for engineering studies. I was responsible for manage and develop whole process of this workshops, including: participant interaction and design process in practice.
