I Bipasana Kansakar, an enthusiastic architecture student from NEPAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE seeking new opportunities and experiences in unfolding spaces in design.

01 THE PILOTIS HOUSE

TYPOLOGY :- RESIDENCE DESIGNING
2ND YEAR 2022 (DESIGN STUDIO III)
The main concept of this design is using one of the major principles by Master Architect "Le Corbusier ", "PILOTIS" to create an elevated living space & use the area below for vehicular parking as the given site was a contoured land .
The design consists of central atrium for better air circulation and natural daylighting .The residence is placed at the contour height of 9'-9'' & the house rests on platform which is supported by series of "Pilotis" .
Planning & Orientation of the residence is governed by orientation of sun & large windows are placed for max. penetration of daylight . Zonning is done by segregating the public & private spaces, private spaces like bedrooms, study,& puja room are situated in the upper storey whereas the public spaces are situated in the lower storey .

LOCATION : GELALGAUN , BHAKTAPUR
TYPOLOGY : COMMUNITY CENTER
The site comprises of various people of different caste , culture , traditions . The creation of community center as focal point for all age groups in locality that promotes social relationships & builts mutal support .
With approach to create connection between people . The design layout creates no. of differnet spaces some quiet & intimate, some busy & open all acknowledge the needs of the residents, tourists and local people.

" CIRCLE OF HAPPINESS"
A PLAYFUL ATMOSPHERE IN SCHOOL FOR CHILDRES'S LOCATION : MULPANI , CHANGUNARAYAN
TYPOLOGY : SCHOOL DESIGN
The concept of this project is "CIRCLE OF HAPPINESS & CHILDREN'S PLAYING IN CIRCLES
". Creating school with playful atmosphere to engage the children's and enjoy school time. It is done by using primary colors & circular shaped windows that provide adequate amount of daylight into the classrooms avoing glares.
Blocks are separated for primary & secondary students & separate block for admistrative purpose . Inward looking plan with 3 volumes with central courtyard creating safe learning space while providimng open air circulation & visibility. The Blocks are interconnected using bridge.
Knowing the importance of outdoor area so pockets of spaces have been created that is used as playarea , sitting & relazing area , learning area that can be used as a interactive socializing space.

TYPOLOGY : MULTIPURPOSE HALL
The concept of this project is "Erasing differences and proving range of experiences to the people regardless of being differently abled , and motivate them to engage in physical activities & extend their boundaries .
The hall is designed for various activities like indoor game events , seminars , parties , meetings , different programs etc.It is designed by keeping the functionality , social sustainability , aesthetic , needs and requirement of the people. It was designed to accomodate 200 - 300 people .
It uses modular seating arrangements with retractable seats which makes the space more flexible for various events . Use of acoustic insulation , soft sound acoustic pannels with soft cell lining .
