KMAT 2025 - SYLLABUS
1. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (30 Marks)
This section assesses language proficiency, grammar, vocabulary, and the ability to understand and interpret written content.
Key Topics:
Grammar & Sentence Correction: Parts of speech (verb, noun, adjective, etc.), subject-verb agreement, tense usage, and sentence completion.
Vocabulary: Antonyms/Synonyms, One-word substitution, Idioms/Phrases.
Jumbled Paragraphs: Rearranging sentences to form a coherent paragraph.
Reading Comprehension (RC): Passages on various topics including business, literature, science, culture, and current affairs. Questions will focus on the main idea, tone, inference, and conclusions drawn from the passage.
2. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DLIR) (20 Marks)
This section evaluates the candidate's ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and make decisions based on logical reasoning.

Data Interpretation (DI):
Pie charts, bar charts, tables, line graphs, and case let-based questions.
Analysis and comparison of data trends and figures.
Logical Reasoning (LR):
Analytical Reasoning: Identifying patterns in sequences and solving puzzles.
Critical Reasoning: Fact, Inference, Judgment, Assumption, Conclusion.
Syllogisms: Deductive reasoning involving statements and conclusions.
Blood Relations, Direction Sense, Number Series, Clocks and Calendars, Venn Diagrams, Seating Arrangements, Logical Connectives.
3. Quantitative Ability (QA) (20 Marks)
