You may be overwhelmed with all the photography-related information out there, but don’t worry, you’re not alone. I'm here to hopefully help make your lives a little easier during a time that is often unnecessarily stressful for a lot of couples It doesn't have to be this way. Here's a little more information about the way I work.
It is my mission to make sure your photography is beautiful, memorable, and most of all, FUN! I take your vision and make it come to life By selecting your favorite locations, coordinating schedules, & creating a custom session timeline, I take care of the details so you can concentrate on all the exciting stuff that accompanies this time of your life.
Based out of Northern Michigan, I work with couples all over the globe. If you have a destination wedding, I have my passport and love to travel!

Non- traditional, outdoor, and unique weddings are my jam.
After attending OCC for photography, I assisted a Detroit wedding photographer for several years In 2000, I moved to Northern, Michigan, and in 2008 I started my own photography business. It has been a wonderful journey with lots of changes and pivoting which allowed me to grow and be flexible

HELPFUL TIPS:
Details help tell the story of your wedding and are often some of the clients' favorite images to include in albums & prints. I love a good detail shot!
If you can, gather all your details before your day starts so I can photograph them quickly! This makes the getting ready portion of the day go by much more smoothly, and it allows me to spend more time focusing on the spontaneous moments when everyone is together
Detail shot ideas: rings, jewelry, hair pieces, flowers, shoes, socks, cuff links, letters, pictures, gifts, cultural items, invitations, programs, printed pieces, and any unique items you treasure.

Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
A: With years of training under my belt, I know how to lightly pose and guide clients to make them feel relaxed while looking natural and at ease. I use mostly natural lighting and make sure my sessions are intimate & fun!
Q: Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding?
A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, you will also get a full print release.
Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
A: Most of the wedding collections come with a single photographer, but you are more than welcome to add a second shooter for an additional cost
Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?
A: I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. I’d love to show off you & your images if you’re game! If not, that's okay, too.
Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?
A: Minor edits will be made to all of your images, color correcting /resizing. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits.

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?
A: I highly recommend ordering prints through your online gallery, but it isn't required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love to help with prints!
Q: What equipment do you use?
A: I use Nikon cameras. I always carry the Nikon D850+ D750 bodies, an 85mm lens, 24-70 mm lens, a 70-200 lens, and a Tokina 100 macro. I have a Nikon and Godox flashes.
Q: Do you photograph destination weddings?
A: Yes! I'd be happy to create a custom wedding collection to suit your travel needs
Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?
A: A 50% deposit & signed agreement is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar.
The remainder of your balance is due two weeks prior to your wedding.

Payment: Cancellations:
A signed agreement & retainer of 50% of the total package price is required in order to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event. All payments can be made via online invoice.
After signing your agreement, all changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties in order to be effective If your wedding gets canceled less than 30 days before your event, all monies paid will be forfeited
I'm here to help you through the photography process, ensuring that sure you have beautiful memories that last a lifetime.
