Invitation to Year 7 2017 Orientation and Testing Day – Tuesday, 15 November 2016 I would like to invite you to the Year 7 2016 Orientation Day to be held on Tuesday, 15 November at the Senior School Campus, 47 Mandolong Road Mosman.

It is a valuable opportunity for girls to make connections with their new classmates and we also take the opportunity to do some preliminary assessments which will help us prepare our academic and pastoral structures for the following year.

Girls should wear comfortable casual clothes and bring their trainers, a pencil case with pens, pencils and a calculator. Meals will be provided. Please RSVP and confirm your daughter’s current school and dietary or medical needs to DirectorOfAdmissions@queenwood.nsw.edu.au by 1 November.

There is a range of orientation information and forms available through Q-online, via the School website http://www.queenwood.nsw.edu.au/home/; for access use the password B4LMOR4L. Please return the necessary forms listed online by 25 November 2016.

Please also find an Orientation Day Programme and a Class Contact List enclosed. If you would like your contact details to be included on a list which will be distributed to other parents in your daughter’s year group, please complete the form and return it when you RSVP. In addition to the Orientation Day in November, there will be Year 7 Induction Days on Tuesday 24 & Wednesday 25 January. Girls will stay overnight at the Senior School Campus on Tuesday and enjoy a pizza and movie night.

Dancers auditioning must have previous dance experience preferably in ballet, contemporary and/or jazz; good technique is required Dancers should wear dance wear and either jazz shoes or foot thongs to the audition Dancers will be required to learn and perform a set routine Both companies compete on the dance circuit
