After 17 years of constant transformation, the team at Le Chique, under the direction of Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna, is immersed in a new stage of renovation.
Far from being satisfied with what it has achieved, today it is projecting itself towards a concept that maintains its essence, but adopts a new skin: a 2.0 version built with the accumulated experience and the dreams that, from the beginning, have marked the course of the restaurant.

Beneficiary of the OXXO rounding-up programme
During the months of April, May and June, Fundación Karisma has been selected as a beneficiary of the OXXO rounding-up programme, a solidarity initiative that allows customers to donate cents when making their purchases.
This collaboration represents a great opportunity to promote the Cataract Surgery Campaign, a project focused on restoring sight and improving the quality of life of people who do not have access to this type of medical care.
Thanks to the link with OXXO and the support of the Margaritaville Riviera Maya and Margaritaville Riviera Cancun hotels.
42 collaborators from OXXO shops and 23 employees from our hotels (including family members) and 60 beneficiaries from the community of Puerto Morelos and Leona Vicario have been identified.
Eye health to those who need it most
In Mexico, cataracts are the leading cause of reversible blindness, a condition that is present in 34% of blindness cases nationwide.
According to official data, around 760,000 people live with this condition, and more than 47,600 new cases are added each year.
However, 1 in 3 patients cannot access surgery due to lack of resources.
We are still awaiting the delivery of the funds raised, but we are confident that, thanks to the generosity of those who decided to round up their bill at OXXO convenience stores, these people will be able to recover their sight and transform their lives.

With 25 years at Karisma Hotels & Resorts, she has consistently driven the operation forward.
Born in the Dominican Republic, she created the SPA concept for the chain and played a key role in new developments, actively participating in the positioning of Karisma as a recognised brand in the hotel industry.
She has developed in areas such as Rooms Division, Standardisation, General Manager, successfully opened Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun and Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya, obtaining AAA Four Diamond certification for the latter.
