Intro & Overview
By James morris
“Complex problems like climate change aren’t solved by a single person making one big effort. They are solved by many people taking action, day after day. Side by side we have an impact far greater than any of us could have alone”
- Eileen Kinsman, CEO of the Centre for Alternative Technology
Welcome to our first Sustainability Festival, “Living Your Sustainable Life” which aims to introduce you with some of the wonderful sustainability initiatives happening in and around Teddington.
We hope that it provides an opportunity to explore how you can make your life a little more sustainable by connecting you with a community of people, businesses and organisations working together for a common goal.
We believe that with hope, understanding and conversations among a community of people that think the same way, that we can make a difference, however big or small, together.
Throughout the day we encourage you to engage, ask questions and share your ideas about how we can work to make our community more sustainable. We hope you leave feeling inspired and we look forward to your feedback.
Enjoy!
