It’s a privilege to present this catalogue and offer buyers the chance to secure next years genetics today.

For six consecutive years, our breeding program has achieved consistent genetic gain in both Eye Muscle Depth and Post Weaning Weight, delivering rams with faster growth rates and superior carcase yield.
TCP - “The money making index”. TCP is represented in economic terms with a unit increase in the index reflecting an additional dollar per ewe joined per year. The index focuses on increasing weight and muscle while reducing carcase fat
EQ - The EQ index targets improvement of terminal sire performance in prime lamb production systems. EQ balances large improvements in eating quality with modest increases in lean meat yield.
BWT - A measure of the genetic difference between animals' live weight at birth Rams with more negative BWT produce lambs that are lighter at birth Industry average sits at 0 4
WWT - A measure of genetic value for growth. A higher WWT ram will produce faster growing progeny during the first 100 days. A higher early growth rate will benefit those producers who market their lambs at weaning A high WWT is highly correlated to PWT
PWT - A measure of genetic value for growth. A higher PWT ram will produce faster growing progeny over 225 days. A higher post weaning weight will benefit those producers who sell as trade or keep their lambs for longer to target the export market.
PEMD - A measure of the value of the animals genes for muscling A higher PEMD ram will have more muscle in the high value loin area and hind quarter A high PEMD contributes to a better overall carcase shape.
PFAT - A measure of the value of the animals genes for fat The more negative the value for PFAT, the leaner the progeny will be
IMF - A measure of the chemical fat percentage in the loin muscle of a lamb and is often referred to as marbling. Rams with more positive IMF produce progeny with more intramuscular fat.
LMY - A measure of the genetic difference between animals for the amount of lean meat yield derived from the carcase and is expressed as a percentage A higher LMY ram will produce lambs that have a higher lean meat yield percentage at slaughter.
CWT - A measure of the genetic difference between animals in carcase weight

Across 180 lots, Kentish Downs sale rams average a TCP of 159.1, positioning this sale group firmly within the Top 10% of the industry.
The graph below illustrates far more than data points — it reflects years of data integrity, strategic sire selection, and sustained investment in objective measurement through Sheep Genetics.
“In economic terms, the Terminal Carcase Production (TCP) index provides a direct measure of profitability — with each unit increase in the index representing an additional dollar in returns per ewe joined per year,” Australian Poll Dorset Association.
