After nearly 50 years in business and 30 years based at Dargan Crescent, it is clear that the company holds the right ingredients for success. But a continual development of the product range and a focus on developing new opportunities highlights that this success isn’t taken for granted. Mark Thompson, Sales Representative, explained, “I always say that we are all part of Team MCC. I may be the one out
on the road meeting customers face to face or it could be the sales team working directly on the phone, but we can only do our job with confidence if there is trust that we can deliver. “Customer service is paramount and it is good for us to know that we have the full support of a well-run team behind us, from the administration through to the stores.” He added, “The wealth of experience we have in-house is a vital element of our service. “It may be clichéd, but you are only as good as your last sale. There is a lot of competition out there, so we know that we have
to keep working hard to meet the needs of all our customers.” The fact that the company works with all the leading plumbers’ merchants in Northern Ireland alongside the main M&E and other specialist contractors speaks volumes. That trust has been extended beyond the province. “Many contractors have had to look beyond Northern Ireland for work but due to the trust they have in us, we have remained an important part of their supply chain. That has brought new challenges on delivering products into Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland but we have successfully met these.”
