Letter from the Chief Executive Officer
Hello Sisters,
I hope this message finds you all doing well and feeling refreshed since our time together at the Summer Leadership Retreat. Fall is such a wonderful season for reflection and renewal as it gives us the chance to take what we have learned, reassess what’s working, and explore new ideas that can help us grow. Do not be afraid to try something different! Sometimes the best improvements come from simply being open to change.
As we move further into the semester, the National Board continues to refine and strengthen our own internal processes. With the implementation of the “Three C’s” leadership model, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer, we are able to focus our efforts more strategically. This model allows us to operate independently from the National Voting Board, giving us the flexibility to enhance our structures and better support you, our active members, as you continue to develop as leaders.
To recap, here’s a brief overview of each “C” and their key responsibilities:
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Marysa Mitrano (me): Oversees the organization’s overall direction and manages external relationships.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Andrea McKevitt: Focuses on internal operations and ensures that our day-to-day functions run smoothly.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Robyn Sarette: Manages the financial health and sustainability of the organization.
Together, this model allows us to serve our sisterhood more effectively and ensure that we are continuing to grow in alignment with our shared values and goals.
As the National Board takes this time to look inward and strengthen our own framework, I encourage each Chapter to do the same. Take a thoughtful look at your bylaws, procedures, and traditions and ask if they truly reflect how your Chapter operates today and where you want it to go? Just as we are fine-tuning our national practices to better support you, your Chapter can ensure that its internal documents reflect the evolving needs and spirit of your members. By keeping our foundations strong and adaptable, we can all continue to move forward together - united in purpose, growth, and Sisterhood.
In Kappa,
Marysa Mitrano Chief Executive Officer
Letter from the President Hi Sisters!
Happy Fall Y’all, is the first thought that comes to my mind as I write this letter. At this point in the semester the air is crispy, fall fresh. Many of you have completed recruitment and are starting to welcome your new classes into the Sisterhood. It's an exciting time of the year with sweaters and hot chocolate, but at the same time it's stressful. All semester long stress builds for everyone, the classwork load gets longer and larger, projects are reaching their deadlines, loads of laundry get bigger with all of the cold weather wear, and we all hit a point where we start to forget what Sisterhood means.
Sisterhood Sis·ter·hood /ˈsistər ho od/ noun: the feeling of kinship with and closeness to a group of women. This is the Oxford dictionary definition of sisterhood, but to me it goes much deeper. It's a place where we can all go to laugh about silly things, like fraternity brothers wanting ham sandwiches, or venting about the very long lecture from our hardest class of the semester. It’s a place where we don’t have to explain why, it's the place that is the why. Make sure to take time to spend with your Sisters. It will help you feel warm inside, and take away some of the stress that is going on right now. Have a movie night and watch Shrek for the millionth time, or gather for a Kappasgiving. Lean on each other because for some reason this little part of the world gave each of us a family that we didn’t know we needed.
I would like you all to take time for your Sisters and for yourself. The daylight might be short, but the days are long. Get that comfort chocolate (muffin, bagel, etc) from the local Starbucks, laugh with your Sisters, and be kind to yourself. Give yourself some grace as the semester finishes.
In Kappa,
Nicole Hallahan National President
2025 Meetings Recap
Convention Recap
By Sam Justiniano, National Treasurer
KappaCon25
Yet another successful convention! KappaCon25 was a little different than the conventions of the past - especially as we joined the brotherhood to celebrate their 125 anniversary. Because of this special celebration, our annual convention was held in Bridgewater, MA at Bridgewater State University where the brotherhood was founded.
Convention weekend kicked off bright and early Saturday morning with Chapter displays and breakfast. The displays were set up along a hallway in the school, with sisters and brothers setting up tables all together. We were happy to see what all of the Chapters were able to achieve in the past year as well as their merch on display! We also had an alumni table, featuring members from the Alumni Association and an AFSP table with cute prizes.
This year, we had the amazing Tina VanSteenbergen as a guest speaker. She had everyone engaged with discussion and reflection, really building on the idea of sisterhood and why each of us is a member of Kappa Delta Phi, NAS. After a quick lunch, we turned to the business meeting. During the meeting, Marysa Mitrano was awarded the Kappa Rose, in recognition of her time and dedication for this sorority. The Kappa Rose is our organization’s highest honor and we were so happy to recognize Marysa for her hard work.
The night ended with our traditional Black and Gold Awards Gala where alumni, active sisters, board members, and distinguished guests are invited for dinner and awards presentations. It was great to see the excitement of the brothers for their 125 year accomplishment. The giant paddle presented at the end of the night was memorable to say the least!
We were glad to celebrate the brotherhood and are excited for what the future holds. We continue to work on convention and make it a reflection of you all - our active members! Thank you to everyone who made this event successful and to everyone who attended. We can’t wait to see you in Cromwell, CT in the spring! Make sure you save the dates: March 27-29, 2026.

One of the most exciting parts of Convention is the opportunity to publicly acknowledge and uplift the amazing work being done by our Active sisters, Chapters, and Board Members through our annual awards! Summer Leadership Retreat
By Jayley Handley, Vice President of Membership
This year’s Summer Leadership Retreat (SLR) was another incredible weekend filled with collaboration, sisterhood, and personal growth. Hosted at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire, the retreat brought together leaders from across the organization for a weekend dedicated to reflection, learning, and connection.
A central theme woven throughout the weekend and one that will guide us into the upcoming academic year was growth. Growth in our leadership abilities, growth in our sisterhood, and growth in the bonds that unite us as members of Kappa Delta Phi NAS.
Throughout the retreat, attendees participated in workshops and discussions focused on strengthening Chapter operations and enhancing leadership practices. One highlight was the hands-on session exploring how to better utilize GreekTrack, our chapter management platform. Members shared challenges, exchanged ideas, and discovered new ways to use the platform to streamline Chapter operations and improve communication. Another meaningful component of the weekend was our time spent reviewing and walking through our rituals. These moments of reflection allowed sisters to reconnect with the deeper meaning behind our shared commitments and prepare for a successful year ahead.
Equally important were the opportunities for connection and creativity. Crafting activities, a movie night, and relaxed conversations gave sisters a chance to unwind, form new friendships and strengthening existing ones. The atmosphere of openness, collaboration, and mutual support throughout the weekend reminded everyone of the power of our sisterhood and the way we lift each other up as we learn and grow together..
As we look forward to the year ahead, we carry with us the lessons and inspiration from SLR. We have a renewed commitment to growth, to each other, and to our shared vision for the future. We are excited to build upon the momentum from this retreat and look forward to seeing how our Chapters continue to evolve and thrive throughout the year.
To everyone who attended this year’s SLR, thank you for your energy and passion. We hope the experience inspired you as much as it inspired us, and we cannot wait to see you again next summer for another unforgettable weekend of growth and sisterhood.
Committee Updates 2025-2026

Meetings
After a successful Spring Board meeting and Summer Leadership Retreat earlier this year, the Meetings Committee is busy getting everything ready for Convention 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited! Convention is always such a wonderful time to come together, grow as leaders, and celebrate all that our Chapters and Sisters have achieved.
The National Board recently met for our Fall Board Meeting — a great opportunity to connect, plan, and work on projects for the year ahead. The Meetings Committee truly loves planning events that bring everyone together, spark new ideas, and provide inspiration you can take back to your chapter or professional life. We can’t wait to make this year’s events the best yet!

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee has been focusing on future plans and collaborating on programming for the upcoming convention in spring 2026. Although we don’t have much to share at the moment, we want to take a moment to reiterate our official statement:
Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority, Inc. is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive sisterhood where every member feels seen, supported, and celebrated. Guided by our pillars of Kindness, Pride, and Devotion, we champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all that we do. Our values, leadership, generosity, charity, and integrity, are the foundation of this commitment and shape how we build a space where all individuals can truly belong.
Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority Inc., is space for all individuals regardless of color, race, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, marital status, creed, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, and gender expression.
The rights and privileges of initiated members of Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority, Inc. will remain intact should they transition and/or identify as another gender.
As an organization we stand with all of our sisters to educate, prevent, and act against harassment, discrimination, and inequality.
We Educate: Our National Board’s DEI Committee works year long to educate our active membership.
We Prevent: Our National Board works with all Chapters to foster safe spaces where every member can be themselves.
We Act: Our National Board and representatives of Chapters partner to create a committee of peers when harassment, discrimination, and inequality occurs.
The Digamma committee has been working side by side with the Alumnae Relations committee recently, so we thought it was fitting to combine our updates here as well! Last year, the National Board and the Digamma committee conducted an assessment to realign the committee’s purpose with the Sorority’s current goals of historic preservation. This year, the Digamma committee is focusing on the preservation of documents and artifacts that capture the history of both our national organization and individual chapters. Our efforts include digitization of historical documents and photographs for inclusion in the national database. The committee has also developed a document retention policy. We are expanding efforts to create a comprehensive digital database of all members. We are especially grateful to Maryanne Burt for providing the original membership card catalog, which serves as the foundation for this project.
This year, we hope to develop a list of alumnae contacts from each active and dormant chapter. These alumnae will serve as valuable resources for gathering stories, records, and historical information from across our sisterhood.
Through these ongoing initiatives, our committee remains steadfast in its mission to preserve and protect our Sorority’s history. These ongoing efforts will safeguard our Sorority’s legacy for future generations while ensuring the committee’s work remains aligned with the needs and priorities of the National Board.
Chairs: Nicole Hallahan, Jayley Handley
Committee Members: Madison Hall, Nicole Ransden, Nicole Hallahan, Maddie Carroll, Julia Schuck.
If you are an alum of an active or dormant chapter and have historical artifacts, documents, or information of historical significance related to the chapter, please reach out to Jayley Handley at vpm@kappadeltaphinas.org
Expansion
The Expansion Committee is excited to begin outreach to new Universities and Colleges as we continue to grow and share the Kappa experience. We are working on updating our expansion procedures and developing recruitment plans for when new interest groups form on campuses. We are always excited for the chance to welcome new members and bring Kappa to new communities!

Media and Marketing
The Media and Marketing Committee has been hard at work these past few months, putting thought and creativity into several exciting projects that highlight the energy of our organization. One of our biggest initiatives is the launch of our new website, coming later in 2025. The updated site features a friendly yet engaging design carefully curated with our active membership, alumnae, and campus partners in mind. Every page and detail has been thoughtfully refined to create a more interactive and welcoming experience. We can’t wait for you to explore it and see how it reflects the growth and spirit of our sisterhood.
Our new Social Media Coordinator, Kat Landry, has also been doing an incredible job leading our Meet the Board campaign. Her enthusiasm and creativity have helped introduce our leadership in a fun and relatable way while spotlighting the amazing things happening across our active Chapters. From service projects and philanthropy events to sisterhood bonding and campus involvement, Kat loves showcasing it all. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos and fundraisers so we can share your highlights and spread the Kappa love even further!
The Kappa Quill team is also thriving and always welcomes input from active members who want to share their stories, reflections, or creative work. If you’re interested in writing an article or contributing to a future edition, please reach out anytime to editor@ kappadeltaphinas.org. We received so many great design submissions for our convention shirt- picking a winner was very difficult! Congratulations to Olivia Neely, Kappa Sigma on her winning design. We hope to bring our actives more design contest opportunities in the future.
This fall, the merchandise committee has busy working to get new designs ready for you all! Be sure to check out our holiday line launching this November and stay tuned for a full line up of themed merch coming in 2026. Release schedules will be previewed soon on our social media. Sisterhood Committee
As a National Board, we practice Sisterhood just like every Chapter. It is important for us to make connections even though we mainly meet to work on projects. At this year's Spring Board we held a Secret Sister Swap, followed by a murder mystery board game led by our CEO, CFO, and COO. At Summer Leadership Retreat, we helped with planter painting and tie-dye and worked to ensure everyone felt the Sisterhood that defines Kappa. This semester we started a Sisterhood hour. Every other week for two hours we have a space on Zoom to just be us. We recently had our Fall Board where we did Secret Sister Gas Station Swaps. It's a fun tradition that helps us learn the little things about one another. After, we let off some steam by going axe throwing and then enjoyed dinner together. Sisterhood is the glue that bonds us together no matter what stage in life we are in.
Chair: Nicole Hallahan
Committee Members: Nicole Ransden, Julia Schuck, Molly McAllister.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention offers help for anyone and everyone
The sisters of Kappa Lambda ended the Spring 2025 semester by hosting our annual walk for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Sisters, alumni, and students of Husson University joined together to walk for the cause. We also held a fudge bake sale to raise donations for the AFSP. We are so proud of our sisters for raising mental health awareness and spreading the message around campus and the Bangor, Maine community. To end off the semester, the sisters hosted a movie night where the graduating sisters worked on their caps, others worked on homework, and all of us connected. We hosted an Easter Egg hunt for a sister bonding activity. We also said a sad goodbye to two sisters who graduated, Madison Phillips, who has been President of Kappa Lambda for one year, and a sister who rushed in Spring 2025, Emily Rossi. We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see what their future holds.
Over the summer, sister Lilly worked as a psychiatric technician, took online classes, went camping, and spent time with her family. Sister Isabel and Sister Shannon did lots of baking and shopping together. Sister Divine stayed on campus this summer and visited her sister in Atlanta. And Sister Morgan went to concerts, visited her sister Madison, who graduated, and spent time with friends.
Our sister Morgan went to Summer Leadership Retreat, bringing back helpful information for our sisters to use this upcoming year. The sisters of Kappa Lambda are focusing on fall rush after tabling at the club fair and hosting events on campus. We are focusing on recruitment this year so we can make our sisterhood even stronger and bigger. Following the legacy of our Kappa Lambda ancestors. We can’t wait to meet new sisters and see what the future holds for our Chapter.

The Sisters of Kappa Sigma Chapter are excited to be back in full swing this fall semester! After a busy summer we have been hard at work and spending a lot of time together. In September we went apple picking and donated to Gather, the local food pantry. This has been a tradition of ours for many years now.
During this time Ellie Adams and Rowan Moore were also putting on a successful recruitment season! We held five rushes all with their own theme and activity. A big favorite of ours was Denim and Diamonds theme and paint night. Our New Member Education process began shortly after recruitment with five amazing New Members. Leah Coubrough and Avery Fecteau have been running New Member Education as Educator and Assistant and they have been doing a phenomenal job.

The sisters of Kappa Upsilon continue to shine as we look back on a year filled with growth, accomplishments, and meaningful sisterhood. Across every season, we’ve stayed true to our values, strengthened our bonds, and created memories that will last a lifetime. This past spring, we welcomed four new sisters into our Chapter and celebrated the graduation of three amazing seniors, who had a meaningful impact. One of our proudest moments was hosting our annual AFSP Night, which was a huge success! The event brought all Greek life for a night full of fun activities, meaningful connections, and fundraising efforts for a cause that remains close to our hearts.
On campus, our Chapter was proud to be recognized for achieving the Highest Greek GPA on our campus for the fourth consecutive year, reflecting our dedication to academic success. Additionally, we were honored to be named Greek Organization of the Year, an achievement that celebrates the hard work, commitment, and spirit of every sister. We concluded the semester with Kappa Rose, our formal dance, where we celebrated our semester with our alumni and actives. Our sisters enjoyed a sisterhood pool party and spontaneous adventures that reminded us of the simple joy of being together. This fall, recruitment season kicked off with Go Greek events like Splash Bash, and our theme, “Girls Just Wanna Go Kappa”, brought excitement and interest with each event.
As recruitment concludes, we look forward to starting New Member Education and welcoming our new class of future sisters into Kappa Upsilon.

Kappa Alpha Nu
University of Albany, Albany, New York
During this fall semester, the Kappa Alpha Nu Chapter has worked diligently to continue promoting a positive presence on and off the UAlbany Campus. We have been busy with an emphasis on our community work as well as fundraising for the National Philanthropy, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We hosted our biannual Kappa Week, which has proved to be our successful event yet! We are proud to share that we have already raised over $500 for AFSP, with more fundraisers to come! One of our biggest accomplishments thus far in the semester was raising $700 for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk that was hosted by the American Cancer Society. This walk is something that we participate in every year, however this year was the most amount we have ever been able to raise and donate. This year we have raised our Chapter goal to $2,000 and are trying to strive for even more donations than in the past, hopefully being able to succeed by Convention 2026.
In the spring of 2025, we were able to welcome a new member class of 11 sisters! One of our largest to date! We continue to be on track with recruitment and have focused to encourage diversity in our new member classes. One way we have increased efforts for diversity in recruitment is by having our diversity chair work hand in hand with our recruitment chairs to further strive to be a welcoming and open place for all.
We have also brainstormed new ideas for fundraising and philanthropy and have completed our second “Pie a KDPHI NAS” event which has been a huge hit on our campus. We plan to partner with Chipotle at the end of October and Blaze Pizza during November. Not to mention one of our biggest highlights, we have partnered with The Happiness Project as they work with AFSP to fundraise for mental health and suicide prevention. During this partnership we have created Kappa Delta Phi NAS hoodies with the Happiness Project. Proceeds for these hoodies go back to the mission of THP as well as AFSP.
One of our new projects is putting a larger emphasis on sisterhood within our Chapter. As our amount of active sisters fluctuates from anywhere between 30-50, sometimes it can be challenging to really connect to every single sister in a unique way. We currently have increased dramatically the amount of Chapter wide events with new ideas such as charcuterie board night, pancakes and pajamas, t-shirt making, and various Chapter themes for our weekly meetings. This focus on sisterhood events has definitely helped our Chapter become stronger and better than ever.

Our fall semester has started with a lot of excitement for the upcoming semester. We are starting our semester with 10 sisters. Over the summer our sisters took time to travel, work, spend time with their families, and relax. Summer was fun, but our sisters are excited for what the upcoming semester holds.
This semester our recruitment theme was “Camp Kappa”. Recruitment was led by Nicole with Cait and Bianca serving as the recruitment committee who planned and led so many fun events. They planned fun camp related events like a picnic, friendship bracelet making, s’mores making, and pennant flag making that felt nostalgic as summer winds down. As recruitment has come to an end we are excited for a successful New Member Education process with Eliana as New Member Educator and Taliyah as Assistant New Member Educator. Taliyah planned an amazing bid day with snacks and a teepee to go with our recruitment theme.
We have so much to look forward to this semester. Our amazing Service Chair, Gabs, has many incredible philanthropy ideas and has been delivering every time. We have sold coffee to raise money for our philanthropies and are doing a paint-and-brunch in November. As we do every fall, we collaborated with the local church to help with apple fest by making pies to sell and helping out at the tablings. To grow our bonds, our Sisterhood Chair, Chelsea, has planned so many fun sisterhood events like mirror decorating and making blankets. In collaboration with our Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chairs, Gabs and Barbara, we planned a picnic for Latin American Heritage Month. Our Alumnae Secretary, Gabs, has been keeping our alumni updated with a monthly newsletter and is planning an exciting alumnae weekend. The Ethics committee with Olivia, Gillian, and Chelsea, is focusing on unity and strengthening our bonds.
Huge shoutout to our e-board, Barbara, our President, Olivia, our Vice President, Taliyah, our Sergeant-at-Arms, Gabs, our Treasurer, Eliana, our New Member Educator, Nicole, our recruitment chair, and Gillian, our Secretary, for all of their hard work.

The Kappa Chi Sisters have started this new year with amazing energy! Our recruitment period has officially concluded, and we can't wait to introduce our amazing new members in the coming weeks. This semester's recruitment theme was Dashing Through The Decades and it was a huge success. We had five awesome events including, 70’s record painting and a 90’s blanket making service event. Shoutout to our amazing Recruitment Chairs, Merideth Smith and Riley Doherty, for their teamwork and dedication to creating fun events, as well as to every Sister who showed up to support the growth of our Chapter.
Alongside our recruitment efforts, Kappa Chi Sisters have been working to support our philanthropy, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). On September 29th, our Fundraising Chair, Hailey Baker, kicked off the first of many fundraisers with our annual Pie-a-Chi! We had an amazing turnout and raised over $300 for AFSP! We are so proud of her for a successful first event as Fundraising Chair. Hailey is also planning another fundraiser for next month at Chipotle. In addition to fundraising, our members have been actively giving back to the community by tabling for IGC, packaging diapers, and our fall Greek Day of Service where we helped clean up a local graveyard.
We are so excited for this year full of fundraisers, bonding, and events planned by our Sisters. One of the things that has been so fun to capture these memories is our Historian, Melanie Rand’s new biweekly activity. She bought a beautiful journal that one sister is in charge of for two weeks to journal and scrapbook about her few weeks. It’s been a great way to look back on this past month of school and we are excited to be able to finish it and keep it in our archives to look back on in years to come!
We look forward to this upcoming year together!

This fall semester here at Kappa Alpha Xi we have prioritized fundraising for not only our Chapter, but also for our philanthropy, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We have successfully participated in bake sales and bingo squares on our campus.
For philanthropy community work, we have created a week dedicated to suicide prevention. We want to spread the message that no one is alone, along with resources that are available to students and staff. We have hosted online informational events wearing the color purple to spread awareness, and created a space where attendees could share their stories how suicide impacted them. Along with fundraising for suicide prevention, we have created a storefront with apparel for other philanthropies that mean a lot to our sisters. The funds raised from the store front are donated to some of our favorite organizations. We have listed the link to our Clothes for a Cause storefront in our Instagram bio @kdphinas_utica - please check it out! We are excited for what this semester will bring us and look forward to continuing to find creative ways to support our philanthropies.
Kappa Alpha Iota has been keeping busy, and we have plans to do some more amazing things for the fall 2025 semester. Here is what we have going on so far for this semester:
A good bit of our time spent here in the Kappa Alpha Iota Chapter is fundraising for our philanthropies. We have had sticker sales, candy sales, and more to fundraise for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), our national philanthropy. We also have a local philanthropy, the American Diabetes Association (ADA). We have this local philanthropy for a sister that passed away due to complications with diabetes. So, we fundraise for her. We do similar fundraising events for ADA that we do for AFSP.
On top of our fundraising efforts and goals for our current semester, we are working towards hosting our second Out of the Darkness Walk on campus! We recently established a committee that is dedicated to organizing this important event.
Our recruitment theme for this semester is “Reporting for Recruitment”. It is a fun camo and pink theme. All of our sisters are embracing the camo with the sparkly pink. With our recruitment this semester we had a Crafts with Kappa night. We had so much fun that night with our sisters being able to do all kinds of crafts with each other. We are hoping to have four new members this semester!
Other things our Chapter has been doing for our sisterhood is our weekly sisterhood dinners on campus. Once a week we all meet up and chat with each other about the craziness of our lives. We also do Sister Dates where every month, each person randomly selects a sister to hangout with and get to know better. This is something that we like to do and look forward to doing! Some unofficial sisterhood that we all look forward to is our library hangouts. We all come to the library with the ambition of completing homework, which does happen while we talk. However, these are the times we get to know each other the most and the best conversations happen, especially when we have Starbucks or Dunkin in our hands!
Our sisters are working hard as academics and as sisters representing Kappa Delta Phi NAS!

This fall semester has been an incredible period of growth and connection for the sisters of the Kappa Alpha Omicron Chapter. As a Chapter, we have been striving towards continuing to strengthen our bonds, deepen our values, and embrace the true meaning of sisterhood.
On Bid Day, we were beyond excited to welcome nine amazing young women into our sisterhood, courtesy of our recruitment chair, Collins Shepard. Each new member has brought their own unique personality, talents, and energy, adding even more kindness, devotion, and pride to our Chapter. Watching them grow in confidence and make wonderful relationships with sisters and each other has been one of the highlights of our semester.
Our sisterhood chair, Kam Miller, has gone above and beyond to create events that promote joy, creativity, and connection. One of our favorite events this semester was the “DIY Slime” night, where sisters had the chance to relax and bond. These moments of shared fun have reminded us that sisterhood is about more than meetings and responsibilities, it’s about making fun memories together. We are very excited about our upcoming “Bright Fright Night”, as we near Halloween.
In addition to group events, our Chapter introduced a new initiative called “Diamond Dates.” These bi-weekly one-on-one outings pair sisters at random, giving everyone the opportunity to spend an hour getting to better know someone they might not usually interact much with. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, going for a walk, or studying together, Diamond Dates have strengthened our bonds and encouraged deeper connections across all sisters, no matter the new member class.
As this semester continues, we are proud of how much we’ve grown as individuals and as a Chapter. Kappa Alpha Omicron continues to show kindness, devotion and pride, and we can’t wait to see how our sisterhood continues to flourish in the semesters ahead.
May the Spirit Never Die!
