The vision behind Kanopy was to unite both worlds of street wear and high fashion, also an environment to put as many exclusion brands under one canopy - the one all, be all place to feel and express yourself through clothing, sneakers and culture.

Collaborating with artists, supplying the latest streetwear releases and designing fashion for a community that finds expression and inspiration in all avenues serve as the fuel to Kanopy's fire.

In Mike's own words, Kanopy has solidified its standing in the Miami area and continues to grow its name around the world because "Creativity can't be manufactured."

That burning desire to create, be different, be loved and to be emulated is something people need and want.

Kanopy is the birth child of Italian-German entrepreneur and artist Mike Massa. With Italian roots and ancestry of mosaic-creators, Mike has artistry flowing through his bloodline.

Combined with his early years listening to 90s hip-hop (the likes of Wu Tang Clan, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, etc.) and finding his outlet on his skateboard while winning competitions, he was destined to share his visions with the world.

"Aggy Abby" Rich in story and history. She has made a name for herself as a "Queen of Instagram," hosting events around the country from New Jersey to Florida. She recently began working with Kanopy as a platform to build her clothing brand with like minded people and vision.

Kanopy has faced similar struggles, which has not only formed a synergy of spirit but also impact to the streets. Yeezy's image and design is a great reflection of how Kanopy can express itself.

Back in 1984, the GOAT got his own exclusive pair of Nike kicks, none other than the Air Jordan, designed by Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore (salute to the OGs). A year later, Air Jordans were made available to the public.

The NBA Commissioner at the time, David Stern, outlawed the red and black colorway shoes on the wood because they didn't have enough white on them (under what was known as the 51% rule).

Shortly thereafter, Nike and Jordan released more colorways and the "retros," which soared in popularity, making Jordan a household name for a reason beyond his wizardry on the court.

To this day, Jordans are by far the best-selling shoe of any basketball player, active or retired.

Iconic Artist, toy maker, brand designer, influencer

Chocotoy & Kanopy have had a long and colorful relationship. Back in 2019, when Kanopy first began the concept Mike reached out to Luis from Chocotoy to help organize the brand and bring it to life. With Luis's wild and fun style and Kanopy's ability to curate we only felt it was appropriate to officially launch a collab to display both unique styles to make a one of a kind dope drop!

Alondra Carvajal Dominican Instagram star, model and influencer who is known for posting fashion and lifestyle photos to her islondy account. She has amassed more than 380,000 followers on the platform. In 2019, she appeared on an episode of the TV show Caso Cerrado titled "Placer virtual en el matrimonio."

When Kanopy met Alondra, we immediately thought of Chocotoy and how perfect it would be for her to represent the collab. Colorful, playful and not afraid to be different.
