Design Concept The Youth Hub Divides the building into two circulation paths, indoor and outdoor, and blurs the boundaries between them through the displacement of different spaces. By integrating natural landscapes with learning spaces, it creates a pleasant learning atmosphere and a relaxed environment for youth. Additionally, to better cater to the needs of the surrounding art colleges, the design provides artistic creation spaces and exhibition areas, enhancing the architectural versatility.

1830s-1900

1980-Mid 1990s

Early Chinese immigrants worked mostly on rubber plantations when they first arrived in Punggol from the 1830s to the 1990s. As the population grew, many villagers also started raising pigs, chickens or fish in addition to growing other agricultural products. In 1990, The last pig farm was

In the 1980s to the mid-1990s, Punggol was wellknown for its seafood and boat rentals, which provided services like docking and training in water skiing, boating and skin diving. The relocation of these seafood restaurants and boatels makes room for land reclamation initiatives,

1942 1600s Early residents of Kampong Punggol, were primarily Malays who lived close to the Punggol jetty and worked primarily In fishing.

In what became known as the Punggol Beach Massacre, Chinese citizens were killed by Japanese military forces i 1942 at Punggol Point as part of the Sook Ching massacre. There is currently a war memorial near there, and that spot has been designated as a national heritage site.

2010-Now Following land reclamation, Punggol Point Park developed the area, Including the nearby jetty, and reopened it in 2013 With a two-storey food court close to the connector.
