Celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights
D
iwali is the Festival of Lights and many people celebrate Diwali. Diwali is celebrated all over the world, especially in India. Diwali is a five day holiday. They eat special foods like mithai, which are sweet treats. They also eat dried fruit and nuts. Some activities people do at Diwali are to light floating candles and make rangolis. They also wear special clothes like suits and jewelery. One of the last things they do on Diwali is light candles and light fireworks. I love Diwali! by Ekam
