SUNDAY, JUNE 29th, 2014 – 11:00 AM 50+ Acres Up For Public Auction! OPEN HOUSE INSPECTION: Wednesday, June 25th, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Parcel ID# R 05.00710.00 is Approx. 43.70 Acres This is northern Kanabec County’s finest 40-acres up for public auction. This property has large shared pond on the north end. Heavy woods through the middle and a nice walk out home to the south w/ 1/4 mile of road frontage and a pole barn for storage. The woods have many trails for walking or skiing. This would make a great home or get away for anyone of any age. Property has private well and sewer. The home is a 3-bedroom, 1 and 3/4 baths home w/ double attached garage, and large sunroom facing the woods to the north. All 3 bedrooms are on main level and are nice size. Great views out of the large living room to the south overlooking many gardens and large lawn. But the best view is to the north into the woods where the wildlife is passing by at all hours of the day. This place really does have the best of both worlds. Nice kitchen and dining room. The lower level of this home has a large family room, work shop area, and laundry. Home is heated w/ outdoor wood boiler, which also provides domestic hot water. The pole barn is approx 30x40 w/12’ side walls, concrete floor and in excellent shape. A great place to store your toys. This piece of property is hard to describe. Jim and Edna were the ones that built this home to live in the rest of their lives. Health reasons have forced them to relocate into something smaller. They have spent their entire life making this a better place to live. If you’re in the market for a nice piece of property, mark your calendars now to attend the open house and the auction. Someone will get a nice pieces of property at a fair price. If you should have any questions please feel free to call. VANDERVEGTSAM ENGAGED David and Sherrie VanderVegt are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding on Sept. 6, 2014 of their daughter Lynn VanderVegt to Charles Sam, son of Becky Ponto and Mike Sam.

CLASSIFIED ADS GET RESULTS Call 320-679-2661 Mora or 320-629-6771 Pine City SHERRILEE ANDERSON MEMORIAL I did not know my sister Sherrilee growing up. I left home when I was 16 to work as a live-in helper and officially at 18 to work as a nurse-aide at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. I did not even know when Sheri got married. I was home to visit very seldom and do not seem to be in many picture sessions at all. I was not told when she gave birth (even though I was a midwife) and I did not know when she began to be seriously ill. I did have some contact with our brother Harold who eventually took on the job of looking after her somewhat; and when he was diagnosed with nonhodgekins lymphoma, Sheri started calling me with her health problems. When Harold died, Sheri and I were often on the phone. By then she was alone due to her daughter Pamela and granddaughter Naysa living very far away and not in contact with Sheri either. In time it was evident that Sheri needed to come to Minnesota and enter the medical system here. We helped her move and get started. By then, sickness, loneliness and medications had taken their toll on her and she was quite difficult to help at times. Nothing worked easily. Still, the real, talented, caring, funny, spiritually-minded and sisterly person glowed through all the fogs of time, pain, meds, sorrows, misunderstandings and memories or lack thereof and she and I bonded with love and true sister stuff. Sherrilee was loved by many and for that I am so grateful. From July 9 of 2007, everyone who came into her life was good to her and for her. She really felt their genuine care and concern. I believe she had nearly six more years of life because of the people in her life; the medical profession, case workers, neighbors and friends and staff where she lived at Heritage House Assisted Living in Milaca. Because of all of you I got to know my kid sister. I thank you all for that. Faith Yngsdahl
