KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES Last week’s most read stories

Below are last week’s most read stories on the Kanabec County Times website, www.MoraMinn.com. 1. Sheriff ’s Office K-9 ready for duty: The Kanabec County Sheriff ’s Office welcomes another helper to their force this month: a new K-9, an 18-month-old German shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix named “Rip.” Deputy Adam Gertken was selected as the dog’s handler. 2. A season to remember in Ogilvie: It was quite the season for the first-time track star, Andy Berg of Ogilvie High School. Andy Berg etched his name in the record books, despite it being his first and only track season. Andy set a school record in the triple jump while placing 3rd at state. He also placed 4th in the high jump and long jump. 3. Peterson sets new record; places 5th at state: On Friday, June 10, Tayven Peterson missed finals in the 300m hurdles by one-thousandth of a second, good enough for the 10th best time in preliminaries but broke the school record with a time of 41:34. Peterson ran another personal record of 15:59 on Saturday to give himself a fifth place medal. Are you a current print subscriber?
