KAMERS/Makers 2017: Our Year of Making Good KAMERS/Makers moves into its 15th year with a renewed energy and commitment to further boost creative entrepreneurship in South Africa. We’ve come to realize that KAMERS/Makers is a very special entity: as SA’s premier platform for artisan designers to showcase their wares, meet new customers and generally network with other creative souls in a supportive and fertile environment, it has become a vital part of our country’s entrepreneurial future

And we have resolved, in 2017, to really leverage the power of our platform to build new businesses, create jobs and secure livelihoods for the thousands who benefit from KAMERS/Makers It’s our year of ‘Making Good’ - we have structured a number of initiatives aimed atspreading the power of KAMERS/Makers further and deeper into the communities in which we operate We continue our successful partnership with Absa in creating a seamless, cash-free shopping experience at our shows. This year Absa will be showcasing some real banking innovations at each show, all aimed at making shopping a whole lot easier for us all More than 150 makers will offer their proudly local artisan wares, delicious food and wine, live music and more at our Joburg and Cape Town shows this Autumn.
