I am a driven student who values knowledge and creativity. Throughout my undergraduate years I have thrived under pressure. Computer science has always interested me, and I have taken coding classes which have greatly benefited me while learning about the various niches in design computing. My passions outside of architecture include computer science, reading, and painting. Along with a major in Architecture, I have worked towards minors in Chinese language and architectural history.

Architecture Intern | June - August 2022
While working at Jacobs I assisted architects with design tasks such as wall details, bathroom layouts, and lab layouts. I also participated in team meetings to discuss project issues and concerns, innovative ways to overcome obstacles and work on design decisions. Participants in these meetings included architects, engineers, interior designers, as well as clients. An integral part of the internship were on-site visits to see how the project was developing and to work directly with the contractors. I also worked with an architecture mentor who assisted me in learning the scope of being an architect at Jacobs.

I am assisting a PhD student in her research. The goal is to create new floor plans for existing apartment buildings in Brazil by using design computing principals. My current task is drawing floor plans in Rhino then plotting the coordinates in Excel.
Architecture Camp Counselor | July 2022
I worked at the Penn State Architecture and Landscape Architecture Summer Camp assisting high school students as they participated in camp activities involving creating hands-on drawings and designs, model-making and finally navigating the college campus. Our goal was to assist the professor with introducing the students to the architecture and landscape architecture program and hopefully provide interest that the students might pursue a college education in this field.
Architecture Research Assistant | February - May 2022
I assisted my professor in reading abstracts and research papers and sorting them into specific research topics. All the research assistants met with the professor once a week to discuss any issues we had while collecting, documenting and analyzing the records.

Worked as a retail cashier responsible for the cash register and processing returns. Other responsibilities included organizing the in-store pickups, managing UPS drop offs, and assisting customers. Often I worked the closing shift which included organizing products on the shelves and cleaning the store.
