The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Week of Welcome (WOW) is a campus-wide set of programs and activities intended to welcome new and returning students to campus. Spring WOW is packed with athletic, social, and educational events that will allow you an opportunity to interact with other UAH students, faculty, and staff. It is a great way to make new connections, find your way around campus, and get free stuff!
Week of Welcome is open to ALL new and returning UAH students, so remember to bring your Charger ID Card to all events. You will find the Spring WOW schedule listed in this brochure along with the event’s brief description, location, and time. Please note that there may be events scheduled outdoors, and if weather does not cooperate that day, we will make every effort to relocate the event to an indoor location. Please check out the website, Guidebook, Facebook, and Twitter for updates throughout the week.
WOW Tradition Events Some events in the Spring WOW brochure are noted with a small icon ( ). This icon indicates our tradition events that guarantee you’ll not only have a great time but, by arriving early, you will increase your chances of receiving a Spring WOW t-shirt.
