Homecoming Kick-Off 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. • UC Slab Rain Location: UC Exhibit Hall Sponsored By: Homecoming Committee Join us at the Slab as we kick-off a week filled with tradition, spirit, and fun! You do not want to miss the opportunity to show your Charger Pride by participating in the Battle of Classes Sheet Decorating Competition and making signs with Blue Crew to support our athletes! Be sure to come representing your student organization or group. Points for attendance will go toward winning the Homecoming Trophy!

2013 King & Queen Voting Opens 1:00 p.m. • Online Sponsored By: Homecoming Committee It's up to you! Who will be the 2013 Homecoming King and Queen? You have until midnight on Thursday, October 17th to vote online. Join us at Midnight Madness for the announcement of the winners.

Blast from the Past Movie Night 7:30 p.m. • UC Exhibit Hall Sponsored By: T.R.U.E. Chargers Student Alumni Association It's 80's Night at UAH and we're celebrating with a classic 80's flick and party! Wear your best 80's outfit for the costume contest or take a picture in the photo booth. Popcorn and soft drinks will be provided. All students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to attend this FREE (and FUN) event!

Can Creations 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Campus Greenway Rain Location: Shelby Center Lobby Sponsored By: Volunteer Chargers Join us in a friendly contest that uses non-perishable canned food items to create sculptures that represent not only the organization and department entering, but also Charger Pride. The sculptures will be judged, prizes will be awarded, and the canned goods collected by the competitors will be donated to the Food Bank of North Alabama. Volunteers will be needed to help load all the cans for delivery to the food bank after the event.

UAH Volleyball vs. Christian Brothers 7:00 p.m.

Sponsored By: UAH Athletics Come support the UAH Volleyball Team as they take on Christian Brothers. This GSC match has been designated as Breast Cancer Awareness night, so be sure to wear your pink! All proceeds from this game will be donated towards breast cancer research.

These are the only simulators in the nation that give participants a completely realistic, sober perspective on the effects of driving while intoxicated.

Make-A-Wish Dodgeball Tournament 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. • Spragins Hall Sponsored By: Student Athletic Advisory Committee Join us for our annual dodgeball tournament! Here’s your chance to show off your throwing, catching, and of course, dodging skills. All proceeds from this event go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Homecoming Parade 5:30 p.m. • Campus Loop – Beginning at Greek Row • In case of rain, this event will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 Sponsored By: Homecoming Committee Floats, music, dancing, and lots of Charger Pride! Find your spot around the campus loop, and join us in celebrating UAH and Homecoming Week! We will begin at Greek Row and end at Spragins Hall just in time for the tailgate to get underway.

Homecoming Tailgate At the conclusion of the Parade at Spragins Hall Parking Lot Sponsored By: IFC, Panhellenic, and NPHC Charge on over to Spragins Hall after the parade and join fellow students and alumni as they gear up to celebrate our men's and women's Charger athletic programs. Claim your space in the parking lot, bring your favorite tailgating foods, and join in the fun for all. Winners of the float competition, Muddy Mayhem, Can Creations, Paint the Town Blue, and the Homecoming Trophy will all be announced starting at 8:00 p.m. You will not want to miss this event!

Midnight Madness & King and Queen Announcement Doors Open at 10:30 p.m. • Program Begins at 11:00 p.m. • Spragins Hall Sponsored By: Blue Crew Join us at Spragins Hall for our annual spirit program that kicks off the Charger basketball season. You'll be hearing from our head basketball coaches, treated to highlights of our past victories along with predictions of what's to come, and performances by our cheerleaders, dance team and pep band. Included in the program is the crowning of the 2013 Homecoming King and Queen. Of course, Midnight Madness wouldn't be complete without a little friendly inter-squad competition with the three point shoot-out and the crowd favorite dunk contest!
