t he 2026 spring/summer LEgo ® kids collection by KAB oo K i is designed around the theme PLAY ALL dAY. t his collection is created to inspire adventure and wonder in children. Every moment is an opportunity to discover new things, whether exploring one’s backyard with besties or enjoying the beach with the family. t he colours are light and summery, combining strong trend hues and iconic primary LEgo colours in a fun and creative way. s tylewise, we look forward to presenting awesome classics and smart news. Amazing prints, and cute details. t he collection comprises everything from functional outerwear to playful swimwear, so that the kids can play all day – in the rain, in the sunshine and in all weathers in-between.
o ur LEgo ® children’s clothes are everyday clothes for active children who love playing inside and outside – regardless of the weather. When we create LEgo clothes at d anish KAB oo K i , we focus on a fun design, high quality, functionality, and plenty of freedom to move.
We have more than 30 years of experience in designing durable children’s wear under license from the LEgo g roup. For three decades, we have tested, observed, improved, and fine-tuned our designs to accommodate children’s behaviour. We make clothes that encourage children to be children. t hrough play and creativity, children develop and learn, and that is really all we want for them.
A fresh season marks the beginning of something new. Below, we would like to update you on the latest news from KAB oo K i and on the LEgo ® kidswear.
i n the summer of 2024, KAB oo K i was acquired by the d anish JB s textile g roup, a large concern located just a bit down the road from us. t his change has resulted in more colleagues, a wider network, and adapting to a large-scale house. We still work in a KAB oo K i -only building with the LEgo children’s clothes as our sole focus, but having colleagues and textile experts just across the street is quite nice. s ome things have changed, but most things are very familiar.
t he 2026 spring/summer collection marks the beginning of a new trim package which aligns with an updated visual identity for licensed LEgo partners. We will be saying goodbye to the black neck labels, and hello to square white neck labels. We will also be changing the black hangtags to yellow. More lively, more vibrant, more fun!
As of our ss 25 collection, the LEgo children’s clothes by KAB oo K i have been free from plastic in their packaging. Last year, we replaced all plastic hooks and hangers with cardboard solutions, and all hangtags were – and still are – fastened with jute string. t he most notable thing, however, is that in 2025 and going forward, the clothes in our LEgo collections are delivered in white glassine paper bags. t hese are important steps taken to reduce the use of single-use plastic in our business.
Chemicals are part of clothing production, but it is up to the individual clothing manufacturer to choose how to restrict the use of harmful chemicals. E u legislation requires that garments sold in the E u are produced according to REACH (registration, authorisation, and restriction of chemicals). We choose to have a critical eye on the use of chemicals in general, and we work towards reducing them in our products, so that we do not only produce according to REACH, but preferably below. o ur products are tested in our in-house test lab and also at third party test labs when relevant. i n this way, we know that our clothes are tested for harmful substances according to the criteria relevant for each element in the garment.
