SERVER ROOMS AND DATA CENTERS PROTECTING DATA
In every server room, there is a risk of a short circuit or a device overheating. In the event of a fire, the Inergen system ensures that the fire is extinguished quickly so that it does not damage other equipment. As Inergen consists of 100% natural gases, it is completely harmless to electronics and fine mechanics. This makes the solution optimal for data protection.
LOGISTICS SECURING STORAGE FACILITIES
Fire extinguishing with Inergen is in demand in production and warehouses, where the challenge is that the space, on and around the racks, is tight. Traditional sprinkler systems often have difficulties extinguishing the fire because the sprinkler nozzle only extinguish locally. EFFICIENT FIRE EXTINGUISHING
WITHOUT THE USE OF WATER AND CHEMICALS In 1984, Fire Eater developed Inergen, which is now the core of our fire extinguishing system. We have created a unique solution that provides an optimal extinguishing effect and at the same time is safe for people, inventory, and the environment.
EXTINGUISHES THE FIRE BEFORE IT DEVELOPS The Fire Eater Inergen system is developed to detect a fire at an early stage, to extinguish the fire efficiently, and to prevent re-ignition. As opposed to a sprinkler system, the Inergen system is activated by detectors that will detect particles at very low temperatures. This will stop a fire from developing. When the system is activated, the oxygen level in the room is lowered from the normal 20,9% to 12-15%, causing the fire to be extinguished within 30-40 seconds.
SAFE FOR PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT Inergen is a mixture of Nitrogen (52%), Argon (40%) and Carbon Dioxide (8%), all of which occur naturally in the atmosphere. The special thing about the Inergen mixture is that it contains carbon dioxide. This promotes the oxygen uptake into the body, making it safe for people to stay in the room. This has been proven through more than 5,000 full-scale tests. No other solution can guarantee this. Due to the properties of Inergen, the visibility in the room is maintained, even after activation. This makes it easy to evacuate people.
NO CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT Inergen is a so-called “inert gas�. These gases are characterized by being harmless to electronics and fine mechanics. The reason being, that there is no chemical reaction between the gas and the technical solutions. This makes Inergen the obvious choice for e.g. server rooms. At the same time, no cleaning will be necesarry after a system activation.

IMT has been developed by Fire Eater and is based on our many years of experience in designing Inergen systems. IMT is designed to help you meet all requirements of the system. You will automatically be notified of any discrepancies found in your project and you will be informed of the error as well as presented with a solution.
IMT will make it possible for you to calculate prices, as well as generating complete parts lists and prices. Fire Eater ensures that all prices and data sheets are up to date and available in the system. Furthermore, it helps you make the most precise flow & pipework calculations.
Fire Eater will make the program available to all partners. We train all partners in using IMT and help set it up so it’s ready to use.
QUICK PRICING IMT is an intuitive system which will guide you through a project step by step. All you have to do is enter the data and the program will do the rest for you. Based on very few inputs, IMT is able to calculate e.g. how many cylinders is needed for the project. You will have access to a complete list of the projects hardware units and prices, in order to give the customer an estimate within a short time. This makes IMT a valuable sales tool.

THE INERGEN EXPERIENCE The best tool in a sale process, is a live demonstration of how Inergen works. We therefore offer our partners different possibilities to carry out live demonstrations – both as full-scale tests and in a mobile setup.
CREATE YOUR OWN DEMONSTRATION ROOM FOR FULL SCALE TESTING As Inergen is harmless to people and the environment, it is possible to carry out full scale tests with people present. Fire Eater will help you create your own demo room, in order to invite potential customers to try it. We deliver a well-documented concept that includes specifications of the room as well as instructions how to conduct the test and present the hardware.
A FACT-BASED DIALOGUE ABOUT INERGEN When you carry out the test, all participants will wear units measuring heart rate and oxygen saturation. A graph will enable you to monitor how the cylinder emptying progresses the oxygen level in the room as well as the individual data of each person in the room. All data generated in connection with the test will be collected anonymously by Fire Eater. As a partner, you will gain access to this data and documentation which you can use in future customer dialogue.
