

A
– After removing the cab (see chapter "H").
– Drain the transmission system. Remove the fuel tanks, battery bracket and exhaust.
– Disconnect any pipes, hoses and wiring harnesses that prevent removal of the housing.
– Make the tractor safe with stands and trolleys.
– Lock the sway action between the front axle and the cradle.
– Uncouple the "Hexashift" housing (A) from the engine and the range module (B)
– Recover the PTO shaft.
– Remove the reverse transmitter.
– Remove the 4 wheel drive shaft.
– Remove the hydraulic command unit (D) fitted with 5 supply tubes. 326hsm94 Fig. 5
– Position the casing standing using the 6 threaded rods (H)"M14", length 170 mm and nuts (See local made tooling in page B2.2).
– Fasten 2 shackles (I) instead of the screws located opposite the reverse transmitter (to properly balance the assembly upon removal).
– Unscrew the 8 screws (J)
Important: Do not unscrew the 4 screws (K) serving to join the multiplier and additional multiplier housings.
– Mark the position of the "Hexashift" module in respect of the casing.
– Extract the 'Hexashift' and 'Revershift' assebly through the top while tilting it (Fig. 8).
– Place the "Hexashift" module assembly on a carrier, with the forward clutch turned downwards.
– Mark the cover (AA) in relation to the additional multiplier housing. (Upon refitting, refer to the centering pin).
– Undo the screws (AB) to separate the clutches from the "Hexashift" module.
Note: Clutch "C", brake "D" and the double epicyclic gear train remain on the clutches.
– Push down on the double gear train and remove the retaining ring (AC)
– Recover the spring washer (AD) (Fig. 12).
– Undo the screws (AE) of the clutch cover "C"
– Remove the clutch "C" and the brake "D"
– Identify the direction of assembly of the clutch "C" (AF) hub (splines facing up).
– Remove the clutch housing (AG) and recover the friction washer (AH)
Note: If necessary remove the cover (AA) marking its position relative to the bearing (AI)
– Disassemble the 2 planet-carriers (AJ)
– Remove the flexible ring (AK)
– Remove the planet carrier (AL).
– Separate the sun gear (AM) from the planetcarrier (AL).
– Flip the "Hexashift" module and lay it on 2 shims, with the input shaft downwards (Fig. 14).
– Remove the brake piston "D" (AN) with a jet of compressed air.
– Block the rotation of the ring gears then remove the first ring gear (AO)
– Remove the retaining ring (AP) and retrieve the second ring gear (AQ)
– Block the rotation of the ring gear holder (AR), loosen the screws and remove.
– Recover the spring washer (AS)
– Pull on the shaft (AT).
– Identify the direction of assembly of the clutch "A" (AU) hub (splines facing up).
– Remove the clutch "A" discs and blackplates up to the bearing plate (AV)
– Remove the additional multiplier housing (AX) marking its position in relation to the multiplier housing (AY)
– Remove the brake piston "A"(AZ) remaining in the housing (AX)
– Remove the rest of the clutch "A" and the brake "A"
– Remove the clutch casing (BA) 326hsm0g
– Recover the friction washer (BC)
– Recover the two O-rings (BD) and (BE) 326hsm0h

– Turn over the multiplier housing (BF)
– Remove the cover (BG) marking its position.
– Recover the friction washer (BH)
– Pull on the shaft (BI) to remove the clutch "E" and brake "F" assembly.
– Loosen the screws (BJ) of the cover (BK) in order to completely remove the clutch "E" and the brake "F"

– Recover the final brake disc (BL)
– Remove the piston (BM) using a jet of compressed air.
– Remove the planet-carrier (BN)

– Recover the bush (BO), (Fig. 20).
– Replace all removed gaskets.
– Refit in reverse order to removal while observing the following instructions.
– Position the clutch housing "E"(AA) on 2 blocks (c)
– Fit the bearing (b) and elastic washers (e) back to back, (Fig. 20).
– Place the bearing plate (AB)
– Fit the spring washer (r), (Fig. 20).
– Insert the shaft (AD)
Note: Raise the shaft by means of a shim so that the final disc (AE) of the clutch "E" engages with the splines of the shaft.
Important: New discs must be soaked in a bath of transmission fluid for approximately one hour.
– Fit the clutch "E" and the brake "F"
– Place the cover (AF) fitted with the sun gear.
Important: Perfectly align the final backplate (AG) with the housing before and while tightening the cover.
– Tighten the screws (AH), coated with Loctite(243), to 3,3 daN·m.
– Place the cover (AI) on the two shims in place of the assembled casing.
– Ensure the washer (AJ) is glued with Loctite(648) in the cover.
– Fit the lubricated seal (AK) in the cover using a press and an appropriate jig.
– Lubricate the inner lip of the seal.
Important: Position a first brake disc (AL) before fitting the assembled housing (AM).
– Coat the friction washer with oil and place it in the location provided under the clutch housing.
Warning: Do not flip the lip seal with the shaft to be engaged in the clutch/brake assembly.
– Fit the planetary holder (AN) with the bearing (AO) and the bronze bush (AP)
– Place the grease-coated O-ring (AQ)
– Align one of the planet gears opposite the mark made on the cover.
– Position the ring gear (AS) together with its bearing in the multiplier housing (AR)
– Lubricate the piston seals.
– Fit the piston (AT) by tapping gradually and alternately around the edge with a mallet.
– Align one of the piston notches (e) with the mark (r) made on the casing upon removal.
– Lower the housing (AR) onto the cover (AI) with the marks aligned.
– Tighten the screws of the cover coated with Loctite(243) to 3,3 daN·m.
– Check shaft rotation.
– Check the washer (AV) is glued in the casing with Loctite(648)
Important: Position a first brake disc (AW) before fitting the clutch "A" and brake "A" assembly. Coat the fiction washer (AX) with oil and place it in the location provided under the clutch casing.
– Fit the shaft (AY) and the hub (AZ) with the splines facing up.
Important: Smear the O-rings (BA) and (BB) with grease before fitting them.
– Lubricate the piston seals.
– Fit the brake piston "A"(BC) in the housing (BD) by tapping gradually and alternately around the edge with a mallet (Fig. 29).
– Lower the casing of the demultiplier (BD) onto the multiplier casing (BE) using the guide studs (m), while aligning the marks (r).
Important: Align the lubrication holes.
– Lock the rotation of the crown carrier (BG) using a drift punch (g) of 8 mm diameter.
– Tighten the screws (BF), coated with Loctite(243), to 3,3 daN·m.
– Place the spring washer (BH)
– Fit the ring gear (BI) together with its bearing.
– Place a bearing point (s) against the shaft (AY) and push the spring washer (BH) to facilitate positioning of the elastic ring (BK)
– Block the rotation of the ring gear holder and fit the second ring gear (BL)
– Tighten the screws (BM), coated with Loctite(243), to 1,7 daN·m.
– Lubricate the piston seals.
– Fit the brake piston "D"(BN) in the housing (BD) by tapping gradually and alternately around the edge with a mallet.
– Align one of the piston notches (e) with the mark (r) made on the casing upon removal.
On the clutch assembly (front and back):
– Fit the bearing (BO) with the sealed side towards the clutches.
– Position the circlip (BP) and the plate (BQ).
– Tighten the screws (BR), coated with Loctite(243), to 1,7 daN·m.
– Fit the cover (BS).
– Tighten the screws (BT), coated with Loctite(243), to 3,3 daN·m.
Important: Place a first brake disc in position before fitting the clutch "C" and brake "D" assembly. Coat the friction washer with oil and place it in the location provided under the clutch housing.
– Fit the hub (BU) with its inner splines facing up (Fig. 37).
– Fit the clutch "C" and the brake "D"
– Fit the cover (BV) and its sun gear (BW).
– Tighten the screws (BX), (BY), coated with Loctite(243), to 3,3 daN·m.
– Place the spring washer (BZ)
– Lower the double epicyclal gear train assembly.
– Stress the spring washer (BZ) in order to place the retaining ring.
– Align both plant gears opposite the mark made on the cover at removal.
– Lower the housing (BD) onto the cover (CA) with the marks aligned.
– Tighten the screws of the cover coated with Loctite(243) to 6,6 daN·m.
– Check that the shaft turns correctly.
– Grease the seal (A)
– Assemble in the reverse removal sequence.
– Fit the "Hexashift" module into the casing while aligning on the mark made during removal.
– Coat the screws with Loctite(243). Tighten the screws to 6,7 daN·m.

– Smeat slightly the threaded rod of the sensor with Loctite(243)
– Tighten or loosen the sensor (A) from its carrier (B) in order to obtain a 1 mm space between it and the plate (C)
– Check using feeler gauges.
– Note the dimension (a) of the sensor threaded rod in its carrier.
– Fit the new sensor smeared with Loctite(243) while keeping the dimension measured on the previous sensor.
Note: Original dimension (a) = 22,5 mm.

– Position the holder and sensor in the casing tapered hole.
– Smear slightly the nut (A) with Loctite(243)
– Tighten the nut (A)

– Apply some Loctite(510) on the front and rear assembly faces after cleaning them (B)
– Position the power take-off shaft in the housing (C) of the "Revershift" module hub.
– Check the presence of the spring on the power take-off shaft.
Note: The power take-off shaft can also be fitted after coupling the 'ranges' module.
– Properly align the reverse countershaft (D) – Fit the supply tube (E) with a O-ring present in each casing.
After having shimmed the 4 wheel drive shaft (F), See Shimming the 4 wheel drive shaft: – Fit the "Hexashift" module assembly in the reverse removal sequence, using guide studs.
