The GHCC has continually served as an anchor for regional and community stability and success during periods of urban challenges and now as we enter periods of greater prosperity, The GHCC, over the past forty years, has worked diligently to focus on Harlem's second renaissance and the revitalization of upper Manhattan and New York by supporting new and established businesses, strengthening and enhancing the number, quality and diversity of the professional services provided, encouraging residential, commercial and retail development, affordable housing, expanding tourism and the preservation and sustainability of Harlem's vitality and importance in arts, culture and history.
