04 First Interview with Cristabel Delgadillo
What’s your year and major? “I’m a fourth year at the University of New Mexico majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.”
What are your major goals in life after college? “I aim to become a pilates instructor and open my own studio.”
What encouraged you to get a degree? “I wanted to further my education to aide my entrepreneurial plans of becoming a business owner.”
How has your college experience been as a young woman? “Stressful and boring.”
Is there anything you wish to be different about college? “No. College has been the most boring thing for me since I commute to school and back home, I don’t stay on campus to attend any events. I don’t have the opportunity to meet people and make friends like those who live on campus.”

“I’m a senior at New Mexico State University doublemajoring in International Business and Economics.”
What are your major goals in life after college? “I plan to attend law school and work for a law firm.”
What encouraged you to get a degree? “The fact that no one in my family has graduated from college and I was always passionate about school.”
How has your college experience been as a young woman? “I think my experience has been great so far.” Is there anything you wish to be different about college? “I wish there were a lot more opportunities and internships for business majors.”

How has your college experience been as a young woman? “It has been pretty exciting. My family has helped a lot and everything has been great so far.”

“I’m a fourth year majoring in Nursing.”
What are your major goals in life after college? “I would like to have a stable job and income to create a good life, help my parents, get a house, and possibly start a family.”
What encouraged you to get a degree? “My dream to become a nurse and help people.”
Is there anything you wish to be different about college? “Something I wish were different could be the prices of textbooks -- they’re expensive.”
Describe yourself with five adjectives? “Responsible, patient, communicative, and honest. I find this question difficult but I’ll also say respectful for my fifth adjective.”
