Fellow Cattlemen and Cattlewomen, It is with both pride and gratitude that we welcome you to the Fifth Annual Bull Sale at Winter Livestock in Dodge City, Kansas. This year’s event is especially meaningful as it marks another step forward for our ranch after an incredibly challenging year. As many of you know, Taylor was involved in a car accident late last spring that took him to the brink of death. While this accident has brought its challenges, it has also renewed our commitment to the ranch and the values we hold dear.

Our philosophy, Bulls to Calves to Beef–Adding Value Through the Full Circle, remains as strong as ever. The bulls you will find in this catalog have been carefully selected to continue the tradition of excellence that defines our operation. From the moment these bulls sire calves to the final stages of beef production, we believe in creating value at every step. Despite the challenges, we’ve stayed true to our mission of producing bulls that enhance your herd’s productivity and profitability.

We would like to express our deepest thanks for the unwavering support we’ve received from our friends, family, and the entire community during this difficult time. Most importantly we want to thank the good Lord for allowing Taylor to still be here and to continue serving Him. As cattlemen and cattlewomen, it’s your trust and loyalty that make all of this possible, and we are excited to present you with these outstanding bulls, which represent the future of our ranch and your operation.

A special thank you to all who have supported our program in the past, and we eagerly welcome any of you who are here with us for the first time. We hope we can continue to earn your trust and respect through the time and effort we have given to this program.

FULL CIRCLE BUYBACK PROGRAM

FEBRUARY

When you buy a bull from Full Circle, you are getting more than just the animal. You are also receiving our time and knowledge to assist with your operation. We primarily started this business to help provide ourselves with a consistent source of feeder cattle. And as we work to create this source of cattle we know our efforts can be mutually beneficial for our customers.

So how does it work?

A few simple criteria…

1. Calves must be sired by Full Circle (FC) bulls.

2. All calves must be vaccinated twice with BoviGold 5 and Vision 7.

3. Calves are NOT required to be weaned, but doing so will add further value.

4. The calves can be marketed either through a local sale barn or by private treaty.

5. All calves must be tagged with an FC ID tag (complementary with bull purchase).

Benefits for You

• The ability to:

Retain ownership/partner on your cattle through feeding

Top your local cattle market

• Marketing assistance from FC staff

• Knowledge of your cattle performance from start to finish

• Carcass data on cattle when applicable

BULLS TO CALVES TO BEEF…

Adding value through the Full Circle

CHAROLAIS EPD DEFINITIONS:

Calving Ease Direct (CE) is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births in first calf heifers. A higher value indicates greater calving ease. It predicts the average difference in unassisted births with which a sire’s calves will be born when bred to first-calf heifers.

Birth Weight EPD (BW) The expected difference in average birth weight (pounds) of progeny. Birth weight reflects prenatal growth.

Weaning Weight EPD (WW) The expected difference in average weaning weight of calves. The evaluation reflects the genetic influence on preweaning growth rate.

Yearling Weight EPD (YW) The expected difference in average yearling weight of progeny. The evaluation reflects genetic influence on both preweaning and post-weaning growth rate.

Maternal Milk EPD (Milk) The genetic ability of a sire’s or dam’s daughters to express in pounds of weaning weight in her calves due to her maternal ability through mothering instinct and milk.

Calving Ease Maternal (MCE) is expressed as a difference in percentage of unassisted births in first calf daughters. A higher value indicates greater calving ease.

Total Maternal EPD (Mtnl) A value to predict the weaning weight performance of calves from a animal’s daughters due to genetics for growth and maternal ability. Total Maternal is calculated by adding ½ the WWT EPD to the Maternal Milk EPD.

Scrotal Circumference EPD (SC) The expected difference in scrotal circumference (expressed in centimeters) of a bull’s or dam’s male offspring at yearling compared to progeny of all other animals evaluated. Research has also indicated a relationship between increased SC EPD and decreased age at puberty for daughters.

Carcass Weight EPD (CW) Expected progeny differences for Carcass Weight is a predictor of pounds of retail product at a constant age endpoint. Selection for increased values should result in heavier carcasses weights at the same age endpoint. Carcass Weight EPD are expressed in pounds.

Ribeye Area EPD (REA) is measured from a cross-sectional area of the longissimus dorsi muscle at the 12th rib. Ribeye area is a major component of the USDA yield grade equation and selection for increased ribeye area should result in larger ribeyes and lower yield grades between animals with the same carcass weight. Ribeye area has a positive relationship with weight, the larger the animal the larger the ribeye area. Ribeye Area EPD are expressed in square inches.

Fat Thickness EPD (FAT) is measured at the 12th rib and is the primary component to the USDA Yield Grade equation. Fat thickness has a negative relationship to cutability; therefore, selection based on decreased fat thickness should result in lower yield grades and leaner cattle given the same age endpoint. Fat Thickness EPD are expressed in inches.

Marbling Score (MB) is a subjective measure of the amount of intramuscular fat in the ribeye muscle. Marbling score is the primary component of USDA Quality grade and selection for increased Marbling Score EPD should result in cattle with higher quality grades at the same age endpoints. Marbling score has a small genetic correlation with fat, therefore producers may select for increased marbling score EPD while not changing external fat thickness when cattle are harvested at the same age-constant endpoint. Marbling EPD is a prediction of the differences in the USDA subjective marbling score between parent’s progeny at an age constant endpoint. Marbling is expressed in the same units as the USDA Marbling Score.

Terminal Sire Index (TSI) The AICA Terminal Sire Index (TSI) is a formal method of combing Expected Progeny Differences (EPD) – BW, WW, YW, REA, CW, MARB and FAT – into one single value on which to base selection decisions. The TSI uses estimates of the genetic relationships between traits with an economic default value based on three year rolling USDA data. The TSI represents a dollar index per terminal progeny produced for a bull in the AICA database, ranking them for profit potential.

Lot 1 is long made and angular, he packs a powerful design into an economic and eye catching package that is the cattlemen’s dream. You’ll appreciate his depth and volume as well as his soundness while on the move. Out of a great Redemption x Duchess daughter, he has the pedigree to match his phenotype. His maternal granddam, RF Ms Duchess 631 was just honored as #1 on the Top Dams List from the American-International Charolais Association for progeny registered in 2024. His sire Summit, was our lead off and high selling bull in our inaugural sale and has went on to be a nationally recognized AI sire. A phenomenal Angus bull to lead off our first set ever offered at auction. Stout and powerful he’s not your typical black bull. Deep middled and wide through his rear quarter, he’s the kind you’ll want to keep the daughters out of and cash the checks from the steers.

Lots of look and power in this Angus herd sire prospect. You’ll love his upheaded make and powerful phenotype. Long with piles of capacity he anchors his mass on a more than adequate bone and a sound hoof design.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Savannah Stabel of Knowhere Vet Service, Kendall, Kansas for her incredible support in helping us with this year's bull sale. After taking a well-deserved break last year to welcome baby Atlas into the world, we’re thrilled to have her back with us, more dedicated than ever. Her expertise, care, and dedication continue to make a significant difference in our operation. Her support goes far beyond just the bull sale, and we are incredibly thankful for her continued commitment to Full Circle Cattle Company.

Wishing your family and baby Atlas all the best, and we look forward to another year of successful work together!

Congratulations!

ATLAS OLIVER STABEL

Born June 4, 2024 to Dr. Savannah and Jayce Stabel
