Excellent holiday to Benidorm 11th January to 1st February. Excellent hotel. Outstanding value. Highly recommended. Mr GT – Trustpilot
With golden beaches, turquoise waters and year-round sunshine, Costa Blanca is a Mediterranean paradise on Spain’s southeastern coast. From sun-drenched shores to breathtaking coastal landscapes, this stunning region has something for everyone. Whether you’re seeking pure relaxation, thrilling outdoor adventures or a taste of authentic Spanish culture, Costa Blanca delivers it all. Indulge in delicious cuisine, explore charming streets or simply unwind by the sea – whatever your dream escape looks like, you’ll find it here.
We venture inland for a half-day excursion to the picturesque village of Guadalest, perched on top of a rock high in the mountains. With fabulous views across the valley, the village also has numerous museums and craft shops where you can stock up on souvenirs while its castle can only be accessed through a tunnel carved through the rock.
The charming city of Valencia is the third largest city in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona. It has a picturesque Old Quarter with a labyrinth of cobbled streets, lined with medieval buildings and towers that were once part of the ancient wall that surrounded the old city. There are also city beaches with treelined promenades, scenic gardens and an attractive cathedral, all of which make Valencia one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations.
Vilajoyosa
For this half-day excursion, we visit the colourful coastal town of Villajoyosa, known to the locals as La Vila. This pretty town is famous for the many brightly coloured homes on the palm-tree-lined promenade and for chocolate! Visit the Valor Chocolate Museum to learn the history of local chocolate-making and see how it is made. Don’t forget to visit their in-house shop for some free samples or purchases.
The major landmark of the thriving harbour town of Alicante is the medieval Castle of Santa Barbara, which stands on the top of Mount Benacantil, offering fabulous views of the city. Other attractions include the Esplanada de España, a palm-tree-lined promenade paved with wavy marble floor tiles, and the Gravina Palace, located in the Old Town. The marina is a popular hotspot full of restaurants, cafés and a shopping centre and is the perfect place to admire the luxury yachts moored here.
Our next stop is Elche, well-known for its beautiful palm trees (the largest palm tree in Europe is cultivated here) and shoemaking tradition. Considered to be one of the most important cities in the Province, Elche is home to two UNESCO World Heritage sights. Explore at your leisure some of the many highlights, such as the Basilica de Santa Maria and the famous ‘Huerto del Cura’, home to the great imperial palm and more than 2,000 species of flora and fauna.

The beautiful island country of Cyprus is the ideal destination for those seeking beautiful landscapes, delicious native dishes from local sources and a traditional culture that is still a part of the island’s modern life. The revitalising mediterranean climate, warm waters and distinctive blend of architecture and natural formations along the island’s coast has made Cyprus a popular getaway for generations.
We enjoy a guided city tour of spectacular Paphos. Enticing visitors to the old neighbourhood, The Hani of Ibrahim is a building complex recently restored to combine modern architecture and traditional brickwork. Browse the special jewellery inspired by Italian culture, ancient Greek mythology or try some local delicacies such as exceptional carob syrup and Cypriot cheese. We also make a stop at the significant Pillar of St Paul, where he is believed to have been captured by the people of Paphos, tied to the pillar and flogged. The tour then ends at the harbour, the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee while watching the world go by.
Fab holiday. The holiday itself was amazing we loved it the accommodation the entertainment the food everything. We booked the Cyprus month package and would do it again.

Enjoy a beautiful morning in the lovely village of Episkopi. The traditional core of the village remains unchanged: the old stone drinking fountain with its characteristic arches still stands and the houses are built in the local limestone.
Embark on a captivating journey through two of Cyprus’ most significant historical sites: Kourion, one of the most important archaeological sites in Cyprus, and Kolossi Castle, a 15th-century fortress located in the south-western part of the island. Originally built by the Knights Hospitaller during the Crusades, this well-preserved medieval castle provides a unique insight into Cyprus’ role during the Crusader era.
Omodos is a picturesque village nestled in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains in Cyprus, renowned for its traditional Cypriot character. The centrepiece of the village is the Holy Cross Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant religious sites in Cyprus, and home to a revered fragment of the True Cross.
Omodos is in the heart of the Limassol wine region. We take a guided tour of one of the local wineries to learn about the ancient customs of Cypriot winemaking, with the chance to taste some of the region’s finest wines.
After a short drive along the Limassol coastal road, we find ourselves at the Sea Sponge Exhibition Centre, where visitors can see how these natural sea sponges and loofahs are made ready for use, with a chance to do some souvenir shopping here.
We then enjoy a stroll past Limassol Castle, where it is said that Richard the Lionheart married his Princess Berengaria.
We drive inland to the beautiful village of Lefkara, famed for its lace (Lefkaritika), silverware and traditional embroidery. A common sight in the village is groups of women sitting in the village streets working on their fine embroidery, as they have for centuries. The folklore museum is well worth a visit, which shows visitors what life was like in Cyprus a hundred years ago.

Resting atop one of the highest hilltops in Malta, within its golden-stone Arabic wall, is the exquisite city of Mdina, in the country’s Northern region. On our heritage trail, discover the history of Old Goa and the multicultural heritage of Divar Island. Explore the former Portuguese capital of Velha Goa on a heritage walk and learn more about the fascinating history of Goa’s former Portuguese empire. We visit some of the best churches in Asia, a Hindu temple site and a Baroque-style church and immerse ourselves in tales of various Catholic orders and revered saints before we enjoy a sumptuous Goan lunch at a heritage home or riverside resort. Later, we journey to picturesque Divar Island. Known for its lush greenery, traditional Goan houses and tranquil environment, Divar Island offers a serene escape.
We journey through vast swathes of paddy fields and lush countryside to find the idyllic North Goan village of Saligao. Lined with coconut palms and quaint houses, Saligao’s narrow streets can hardly contain the energy and vigour of its vibrant community. We find out more on our walking trail, as we explore the popular local sights and cultural delights, diving deep into stories of migration that have contributed to the village’s unique and harmonious social fabric. Later, we venture to Fort Aguada Port, built by the Portuguese in the early 17th century. The fort was constructed to guard against the Dutch and the Marathas and served as a crucial defence point for the Portuguese. Listen to our storyteller’s tales of its evolution from a bustling port to a lower fort to a prison facility and ultimately a heritage monument. Immerse yourself in the rich historical narrative behind this iconic structure, which has been a witness to the passage of time and the fascinating stories it holds. Explore various sections of Fort Aguada, including exclusive access to a beautiful chapel, a freshwater spring, a former kitchen and the prison cells of the Aguada jail. We receive an introduction to the 400-year-old monument under the night sky and unearth soul-stirring stories of the prison inmates and testimonies of its dramatic past.

Goa offers a fascinating duality, perfect for first-time visitors seeking both vibrant energy and serene beauty. In North Goa, life pulses with a bohemian spirit. Bustling beach shacks, lively markets and a rich tapestry of Portuguese heritage create an atmosphere filled with colourful sights and eclectic sounds. In contrast, South Goa exudes tranquillity with its pristine, unspoilt beaches, quiet fishing villages and lush landscapes. The slower pace offers an idyllic retreat from the energetic buzz of the north.
Our journey captures both sides of Goa. We split our time between two hotels: the chic Radisson Hotel Goa, Candolim in the north and the Radisson Blu Hotel Goa, Cavelossim in the south. Our excursions highlight these contrasts – a Latin Quarter Food Trail immerses us in North Goa’s dynamic culinary scene, while an Old Goa Heritage Walk and Divar Island tour reveal the historical depth and serene charm of South Goa.

I’ve travelled around the Seychelles on the Pegasos, and it’s a fantastic way to discover these beautiful islands. Penny – Silver Travel
9 days from £2,999 Jan ‘26 - Dec ‘26
The Seychelles offer the kind of scenery sun seekers dream of: big blue skies, turquoise waters and powdery white sands fringed by granite rocks and palm trees. On this exciting long-haul getaway, enjoy an island-hopping adventure, cruising between a number of breathtaking spots and exploring paradise by Mega Yacht. Snorkel through a stunning underwater world, journey into tropical forests, look out for unique wildlife, experience a BBQ on a deserted beach and relax onboard the luxurious M/Y Pegasos.
Sit back and enjoy the overnight in-direct flight to the Seychelles, with a change at Addis Ababa Bole airport.
We arrive in the Seychelles and transfer to Mahé’s cruise port, where we join the M/Y Pegasos mega yacht. After a welcome from the crew and some time to settle in, we set sail for our first destination, St Anne Island. The largest of the eight islands in the stunning Ste. Anne Marine National Park, this was the site of the first French settlement in 1770 and served as a base for the Royal Marines during the Second World War. Set within sparkling turquoise waters and with a vast array of corals, it’s a fantastic snorkelling spot – you may be lucky enough to see green turtles feeding on the huge expanse of seagrass meadows here.
We leave St Anne Island early in the morning to reach Curieuse, an uninhabited granitic island which was once a leper colony and is now home to giant tortoises and indigenous black parrots. Our walking excursion with a park guide takes in the amazing giant tortoise farm and along mangrove forests, before we later return to the beach for a BBQ under the trees. The afternoon provides the perfect chance to enjoy some sea activities or simply relax on the unspoilt shores.
In the morning we sail for Cousin Island, a thriving nature reserve since 1968 and a real paradise for birdlife, with several nesting beaches for turtles too. We take a trip to the Bird Sanctuary, which is in the care Bird Life International, and learn that an incredible quarter million birds breed on Cousin! Later in the
afternoon we reach Anse Lazio in Praslin, renowned as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The time is yours to spend as you please, from water sports and snorkelling to sunbathing and reading, before heading back to the ship for the evening.
We leave for Aride today, home to the Wright’s gardenia, found nowhere else on earth, and to bird species such as the Audubon’s shearwater and the Seychelles warbler. Be sure to look out for them while the island’s rangers lead us all the way to the top of the island, where the views are simply spectacular. At noon, we continue to the stunning St Pierre Island for a three-hour snorkelling and swimming stop before a sunset sail to Baie St Anne, where we enjoy a cultural Creole evening. Please note: Aride Island is often closed for a visit during South East Trade winds (from May to September). It may also close at short notice during strong surf.
There is an optional tour on offer today to the palm forest Vallée de Mai, the verdant heart of Praslin island and often described as the Garden of Eden. It’s one of the world’s smallest UNESCO World Heritage Sites and contains many unique species, thanks to millions of years of isolation. In the afternoon, we either sail to Félicité or Grand Soeur, both spectacular spots for snorkelling, before continuing to La Digue, the third most populated island of the Seychelles.
Join an optional excursion in La Digue, the most photographed corner of the Seychelles, where knowledgeable guides lead us through L’Union Estate Farm for a tour of a coconut oil mill, copra kiln and the colonial plantation house. We continue to Anse Source D’ Argent, one of the most magnificent beaches in the world, where there’s time to marvel at some of Seychelles’ most impressive rock formations while enjoying a refreshing local drink. The excursion is rounded off with souvenir shopping at La Passe, the island’s main village, before returning to the ship. In the late afternoon we sail to Moyenne island, our beautiful home for the evening.
M/Y Pegasos is a lovely floating home away from home! With an experienced crew of 18 and a maximum of 44 guests, the classic double hulled Mega Yacht boasts a spacious lounge, relaxed dining areas, shaded spots, sun loungers on deck, an outdoor bar and big windows to admire the passing scenery. The ocean-view cabins offer a comfortable base for the cruise, with an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe and hairdryer.
Day 8
This morning we take a short guided tour around the island and make the most of our last opportunity for a swim in the crystal-clear waters. Afterwards, a BBQ awaits on deck before we leave Moyenne Island for Mahé,’s Victoria port in the afternoon. This evening we enjoy a Captain’s farewell dinner with live music and dancing.
Day 9
After enjoying breakfast on board we disembark and make our way back to the airport, ready for the return flight home. Alternatively, you may choose to extend your stay.
