This year has provided our League with a unique opportunity to be innovative with our development plan. The necessity of social distancing and the postponement of the 30th anniversary of Holiday House sparked the need for creativity in fundraising. Through this, members have shown resilience, originality, and expeditiousness in developing new fundraising opportunities to fit the current environment and support the League’s Mission. Thinking strategically, we’ve focused on crafting fundraisers around the needs of consumers; creating virtual activities and
socially distanced offerings to fill the gaps left by the inability to gather and celebrate the holidays as usual. Further, we’ve developed these fundraising initiatives to cultivate new sponsor and donor relationships, to complement our existing fundraisers, and to diversify the League’s revenue for future years.

We exceeded our initial goal of $1,000 raised within the first week of selling baskets and our hope is that this can be a sustainable future fundraiser for the League.
