October 14, 2014—Joann was owner and editor of the Buck Saver Magazine in Boyertown, Pa. She was preceded in death by husband George.
Susanne (Hitchner) Wolf ’75
December 18, 2014—Susanne was a teacher and an administrator in the Simi Valley School District in California for 29 years. She is survived by husband Michael, sons Christopher and Brian, daughters Kristen and Melanie, and four grandchildren.
Cordelia (Foy) Fisher ’77
March 20, 2015—Cordelia was retired after 30 years of service as a biology and microbiology teacher at Bellwood-Antis School District (Pa.). She was also on the staff at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home in Bellwood. She was a member of Hillside Community Church and enjoyed reading, gardening, and birdwatching. Cordelia is survived by husband Robert and daughter Jessica Fisher ’10.

R. Douglas Mease ’81
January 30, 2015—Doug was employed as a case worker at the Huntingdon offices of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. He was a member and president of the Mount Union (Pa.) Volunteer Fire Company and a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association baseball and softball umpire. Doug enjoyed bowling, golf, and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by wife Deborah and daughters Kim and Stephanie.
Eric B. Foster ’83
May 17, 2014—Eric worked in pharmaceutical research and development and volunteered for his local fire departments. He loved to travel and enjoyed spending his summers in Cape Cod, Mass. Eric is survived by wife Victoria, daughters Sara and Lauren, and son Benjamin.
Judith M. Pepoy ’83
October 16, 2014—Judy began her career at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., where she was employed for more than 30 years. Her last mission was as a spacecraft analyst working on the Solar Dynamics Observatory. She had a great love for animals and enjoyed doing home improvement projects.
Marc S. Nelson ’89
November 21, 2014—Marc worked for many years with Duttera Sound Services and did freelance work for Showtime and Forty-Two Event Productions. He served as technical director for the Strand-Capital Theater in York, Pa. Marc liked being on stage doing plays, loved to golf, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.

February 23, 2015—Celeste worked in the information technology department at Omega Financial in State College. She was a talented jewelry maker and loved computers, scrapbooking, and her animals. She is survived by father Clair, fiancé Michael Chero, brothers Troy and Steve, and sisters Dawn and Denise.
Christopher J. Haley ’02
Hilda V. Nathan, retired employee
March 2, 2015—Hilda was born and educated in Germany and moved to the United States after the deaths of her parents and brother Eric. She started her career as a teacher at the Huntingdon (Pa.) Secretarial School and became part of the Kenneth Fleming family of Huntingdon. In 1946 she began employment at the College as assistant treasurer, a position she held until her retirement in 1976. During her tenure, Hilda was known for doing all that she could do to help students to stay at Juniata when finances might otherwise have stood in the way of earning their degrees. In 2014 Juniata’s newlyconstructed residence hall Hilda Nathan Hall was dedicated in her honor. Hilda is survived by her companion of 72 years, Sarah Fleming.
March 11, 2015—Chris worked with his father and brother at Haley Plumbing and Heating, where he designed and installed mechanical systems for many clients. He enjoyed mountain biking and hiking and loved living in the Adirondacks. Chris is survived by wife Mairead, daughter Maeve, son Roan, and parents Nancy and Robert.
