In CASHnet, you can authorize others, like your parents or guardians, to have access to your billing information, and you can also set up a monthly payment plan. You should waive medical insurance through the College if you have other insurance coverage. The waiver must be completed at www.rcmdstudentbenefits.com by February 25, 2025, to have the charge for the College’s medical insurance removed from your bill.
ADVISING AND COURSE REGISTRATION At Juniata, you partner with two advisors, both of whom are college faculty or staff members. One focuses on your Program of Emphasis, while the other guides you through the general education curriculum. Both help you design an educational plan encompassing classes, co-curricular options, and other opportunities that help you achieve your academic and career goals. To prepare for your first semester as a Juniata student, be sure to: • Watch your email for communication from advising@juniata.edu. Be sure to respond so that we have accurate information as we connect you to an advisor and build your class schedule. • Visit the First Year Academics page at www.juniata.edu/orientation, where you will find instructions for submitting AP scores and college transcripts from other institutions and taking the world language placement test as applicable. If you are a first-time college student, you will receive your customized class schedule in January. If you are a transfer student, we will work with you to create a schedule after we have received your transcripts. You will be able to work with an advisor once you come to campus to answer any questions you have about your schedule and make changes if desired.
