Diana (Goodley) Cutrona ’01, Leigh Ann (Suhrie) Wilson ’02, and Matthew Wilson ’04 have maintained a close friendship for 20 years. “We independently planned our summer vacations, and when sharing locations, we realized we were going to be at Yosemite National Park at the same time. We didn’t set any specific plans other than a goal to meet up. We tried to find each other at Glacier Point, but missed each other by an hour. We then set plans to meet for lunch the next day. The July 4 holiday crowds and no parking, again, caused us to miss each other. With terrible cell service in the park, we had a few minutes to set the next attempt. We were cut off before it was finalized. As we were leaving the park, we came around a curve and Leigh “This past March, I was at Disney World in Florida with my family. As we passed through the gates into Hollywood Studios, I heard someone calling my name. Unsure of who it was, I ignored it at first, but eventually, I turned around to see Zachary Ausherman ’06 standing behind me! Our families were heading to the same ride, so outside of Toy Story Mania, we snapped a quick selfie.”
Ann yelled, “Is that Diana?!” She was standing in a parking lot hoping we would see her. We were able to park and spend an hour in a very beautiful setting.”
