The final countdown to ARTS2015 begins! At the strike of Midnight it will be only 12 days until the ARTS contestants board their flights to take off to America, representing South Africa in Modelling, Dancing, Singing and Acting.

Early next month, Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o is heading to Johannesburg, where parts of a new Disney blockbuster will be filmed. Queen of Katwe started shooting a few weeks back and we are extremely proud of every single Just You Artist who has been on set so far and for all those who still will be.

Just You Artists have already been on set with award winning actor David Oyelowo who was the main actor for the film Selma where he played as Martin Luther King Junior.

This has been an amazing opportunity for all Just You Artists who have been on set some of which are #ITSAlumni and #ARTSAlumni.

Katende, a war refugee turned missionary, initially encourages the young girl to play chess in exchange for cups of free porridge.

Young artist Mvelo Curren has proved that there is no such thing as too young or too old to be a brilliant artist.

Straight from his photo Mvelo booked the Sandton City reconstruction shoot where he will be seen all over the shopping mall while revamping takes place. This all done at the age of 7. #NeverTooYoung

Just You Artist and #ITSAlumni Jezriel Skei is sky rocketing into success.

Jezriel was the lead character in the South African Movie “Four Corners” which from this he has made history by being the youngest actor to win the best lead actor award in a feature film at the SAFTAS. Along with that came an article in the South African Magazine called UNCUT where he featured under the “16 Young South Africans who are Simply Wow” article. #JezzySkei making history.

Cassandra Stead took the brave leap and moved from her home town in Durban to Johannesburg, since she has been here it has been nothing but non stop success!

Cassandra started by booking a feature role in the Coca Cola Russia advert as a dancer she moved on to book the MTN advert, appeared in the new KOO advert and ended it off with being a dancer in the 3 Mobile Tv Commercial as a dancer.

Cassandra is a highly impressive actress and dancer and we at Just You Model and Artist Management are proud to have her as part of the team and family. Just You Artist Elvira du Toit played an amazing lead role in the Radio2000 commercial. Unfortunately we are not allowed to share the actual link but take it from us if you haven't seen it, Elvira is amazing. Well done Elvira.

Even our Managing Director is getting in on the action by booking and featuring in big brands such as the Nissan Almera Tv commercial and the ABSA Stills Campaign.

It is always a great achievement to book a national commercial but when we book an international commercial with 1 #ARTSAlumni, 3 #ITSAlumni, Just You artist Elani Dekker who was featured in the Coca Cola Russia job which went international and Tyrell Jackson Just You’s Mr Nandos who featured in the Nandos Blue Light Brigade advert that went viral, when these artists come together and all book 3 Mobile a UK company commercial it just gets to another level of #AWESOME.

Massive well done to our 3 Just You Artists, one of which is our dance guru and teacher Lawrence passens, for booking roles for the new Castel (Nigerian Beer) TV Commercial. Christopher and Elvira are slowly but surely becoming regular bookers for Just You Model and Artist Management and will soon be recognizable faces on TV. #SuperStars

Just You Artists took part in the MoFilm (Advert for competitions) with production company YourGirlfriend TV and Chevrolet, about a qualified math's teacher who fled his country to be safe and worked as a car guard until someone gave him an opportunity. The result heart touching and brilliant well done Just You Artists!

These four awesome Just You Artists were part of the new Ingrams TV commercial where they dancing the old school Electric Slide.

On the new Diet Coke commercial it will be difficult to not see a Just You Artist as they were there every day on set in every single scene. Well done to all the artists on set and Thank You for being on set everyday on time with everything that was requested. #JustYouArtistsROCK

The legendary Nate Butler has been in South African for the past week and today to work with 4 selected aspiring singers. This once in a life time opportunity consisted of spending one on one time with Nate where he assisted the artist in writing their own single and produced it.

Last week Just You Model and Artist Managements Director Elsubie Verlinden had an amazing interview with ETV for their show “Against all Odds� a series covering the journey of Just You Artist and #ITSAlumni Bonokuhle Nkala as she chasing her dream to be an international artist.

Early this year 3 Just You Artists along with our director Elsubie Verlinden flew to Atlanta USA, to record their singles with ICON Studios. This was achieved by them attending the Applause Rising Talent Showcase last year (ARTS). Cant wait to hear the final products.

Gino Lee #ARTS2013Alumni is sky rocketing to the top of the music industry whilst staying in Los Angeles. Recently Gino was part of a shoot with celebrity Jessi J, he met with Mark Ronson (Uptown Funk), was part of the cast for a new Google Commercial, was on set for Be112a Miller’s new music video (X Factor) and was on set for the Fly Boyz Music video at the Columbi College in Hollywood. #GinoLee

Massive CONGRATULATIONS goes out to two #ARTSAlumni artists, Anele Ngizela and Bonnie Du Toit for graduating for the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.

The International Talent Showcase is a national platform created for artist and models to showcase their talent in 4 different categories: Modeling, Singing, Acting and Dancing.

The International Talent Showcase is hosted annually in October in Johannesburg.

Mrs. Kim Myers (Director of the Applause Rising Talent Showcase) personally attends The International Talent Showcase scouting talent who she will exclusively invite to attend the ARTS Convention in June 2016.

Elsubie Verlinden and Elouise Janse Van Rensburg travel throughout South Africa, scouting talent to showcase their talent at The International Talent Showcase, 2nd and 3rd October 2015.

We have international guest performer, Nate Butler - A&R for America’s Got Talent and international guest Tashia Stafford – Owner, Icon Studio attending The International Talent Showcase.

We have secured a solid foundation between national and international career opportunities allowing artist exposure to international clients - nationally.

Once you have been scouted by our Regional ARTS Director, you will attend The International Talent Showcase and perform in front of Kim Meyers in 2nd and 3rd of October 2015 at Silverstar Casino in Johannesburg.

Kim Meyers who will be scouting according to her clients requirement in the Film and Fashion Industry. Artist scouted will be invited to attend the June 2016 ARTS Convention , in Orlando, Florida.

Kim works throughout the night to ensure the call backs are ready and emailed to the Director Elsubie Verlinden.

The staff of Just You will contact you to congratulate you on your call back and inform you of your call back.

The ARTS Convention is a well respected family event, offering artist and models exposure to perform and network in front of International Agents, Producers, Record Labels, Managers, Casting Directors. The ARTS family believes in maintaining a moralistic, value based level of exposure without compromise.

The passion and unconditional commitment for the talent goes deeper then getting you ahead in the industry, but provides you with the necessary experience and knowledge that will benefit you in the industry and in starting your career.

This grants all participants the opportunity to perform on a Broadway style stage, ensuring you gain the necessary experience.

Mrs. Kim Myers (International Talent Scout and Director of the Applause Rising Talent Showcase) fly to South Africa each year to scout talent in Acting, Modeling, Singing and Dancing and who will represent South Africa at the ARTS Convention In June 2016.

Artist and models will be performing in front of the leading names in the film, fashion and entertainment industry. Record labels, Managers, Casting Directors, Educational Institution will be attending the ARTS Convention to scout talent suitable to their profile and clients.
