EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CONNECTION: SPRING PROJECT STARTS Spring has finally sprung (in between snow storms), and as we talked about over the winter, many projects are finally ready to begin. We are currently breaking ground on an average of one major project every week! Of course the projects don’t just start themselves and there is a lot of effort needed to get each one ready to begin. One of the greatest challenges the industry is facing is that many or our valued trade contractors are already very busy and can be very selective on what projects they bid and how aggressively they pursue the bids. This makes it harder to hit the budgets that were often established last year.
Extra effort is being made to “sell” our projects to the Trade Contractor Community, but the groundwork has already been laid by our great team. Our Trade Partners prefer working with us over much of our competition, and given the choice of bidding our projects or another builder’s, they choose us. That loyalty comes from the respect they receive from every position and department in our company. Keep up the great work being “Unmistakably E&V” to our Trade Partners. It is giving us a big advantage in the current challenging market.
