2ND FLOOR DEMOLITION

PROJECT MANAGEMENT UPDATE

February went by fast, even with the extra day. We were able to make good progress on Phase 5. Temporary walls were completed early in the month and demolition was wrapped up at the end of the month. We are currently working on some structural modifications at the new door openings and across the corridor on the second floor. Framing has started and will continue into next month. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing rough-ins are ongoing underground, in-wall and above ceiling. We have been making some noise this phase, so thanks again to all the residents and staff for your continued patience and support throughout this project.

Building Together | Construction Update Newsletter UMRC - Chelsea, MI - February, 2020 KRESGE RENOVATIONS | UP NEXT Moving into the heart of Phase 5, we are in full swing of the construction process. Demolition is wrapping up and we will begin seeing walls framed and drywalled in the upcoming weeks. Just like previous phases, the second floor is approximately one week ahead of the first floor. The construction team is excited about wrapping up this phase and delivering a quality project.

For our February team spotlight, we want to highlight John and Billy from Wilbur Plumbing. John and Billy do a great job of planning ahead and thinking about the other trades when they are in the field. It is a dream to work with people who possess the characteristics John and Billy have. It has been a pleasure working with John and Billy, and we look forward to working with Wilbur Plumbing in the future.
