Manhattan Whispers

Lily Yach, a senior designer at Harcum College is now looking forward to continuing her studies at Thomas Jefferson University.

Lily’s senior collection, titled Manhattan Whispers, has an intertwined inspiration from Karl Lagerfeld and the upper east side girls from New York.

The collection showcases upscale garments with a unique fabric selection and contoured silhouettes Manhattan Whispers was created for women who want to feel confident, comfortable and powerful.

Jaylssa Thorpe is an emerging fashion designer and merchandiser paving her way in fashion through the grace of God.

“Philly Fashion Week (PFW) will be on par with NYFW"

Kevin Parker and Kerry Scott created a platform of discovery resources and opportunity, as recognized by th CFDA, (Council of Fashion Designers of America), the creators of NYFW and other stakeholders in Fashion

Parker and Scott are proud to be the creators of such an amazing production. They take particular pride in the educational aspects of PFW, making sure to provide resources, marketing and visibility for the up-and-coming brands that show in the event.

With the opening of Maison PFW, Philly Fashion Week can now support local designers with shop-the-runway and can provide a hub to call home from a retail marketing, and business development perspective

are delighted to see the attention to detail at PFW as they watch designers flourish in the platform they have created

In the next 10 years Kevin and Kerry see themselves as an international house that produces fashion week events across the U.S and internationally.

Philly Fashion Week this past February was the culmination of months of work. It featured an impressive production with new extra large video screens. If there is anything they would change about PFW Parker and Scott would hope to continue to learn from mistakes and apply them to innovate and grow!
