網路在90年代後開始在高發展國家廣泛運用，到了西元2000後，發展中國家也加入了此行列。 網路使用人數直線劇增，而這些網路使用者多從年輕世代到中年世代，約莫15-40歲。

年輕族群強調物質的簡單與質感，因此，品牌的門面越來越被看重，不好看的設計會讓消費者對該品牌 所提供的服務有所質疑。

半甲子家庭理髮廳原本只叫家庭理髮廳，位於政治大學附近的小巷子裡，店開了將近30個年頭， 裝潢簡樸。隨時代推移，理髮廳的年輕客群流失，只剩下固定的老客戶。為了推廣家庭理髮文化

並讓學生們知道家庭理髮的剪髮服務並不亞於外面裝潢誇張的髮廊，我們藉由取新名字並嘗試 設計部分理髮廳外觀，再加上酷卡與行銷手法，希望可以讓大家重新看見家庭理髮。

Halfway Barbershop, originally, has no specific naming during the past 30 years sitting in the neighbor alley near NCCU. As times went by, the shop lost young customers, only make regular customers stay. To promote the culture of family barbershop and let students realize the service isn’t minor to fancy salons, we name the shop and try to design part of the appearance; additionally, adding flyers and promotion, hoping to make family barbershop again be seen by people.
