PROFILE I am an architect that combines creative and technical skills, based on an education in a polytechnical university and four years of working experience in Denmark. I have participated in a wide range of projects, from interior design to urban planning, and from the first conceptual phases to the completion. I am used to work under time pressure in projects that require high quality and precision, and contribute to the team by working systematically and organized. I am passionate about my work, and I particularly value architecture and urban spaces that are designed with responsibility, taking the existing social, economic, and environmental context into consideration. I believe in the potential that we as architects have to improve our cities and people´s life.

ABOUT ME Living and working abroad since 2014 has widened my horizon and made me grow as an architect and as a person. In Denmark, I have had the opportunity to start my career and the privilege to work with very experienced architects. I feel integrated in the Danish culture, which I am able to fully appreciate now that I also speak Danish. With family in Spain, a german boyfriend and living experiences in Italy and Denmark, I am open minded and value cultural diversity. In my free time I enjoy hiking, drawing, playing guitar and sharing time with friends. I am always curious about learning new things, that is why currently I am going to a ceramic workshop and study German.

01 MIDDELGRUNDSFORTET / COMPETITION PHASE Bertelsen & Scheving Arkitekter + POLYFORM / Copenhagen 2015 -2106 Subject: Transformation Phase: Competition Transformation of the military island of Middelgrund and its fort into a recreative place for the Scouts and the young, and a center for conferences and events. I analysed the existing fortress, helped with the concept development and made competition diagrams and drawings.

Urban landscape Concept + Design development (Projektforslag)
The main elements of this playground are moving water - in response to the name of the square “kildeplads” - and a slide with sculptoric characteristics. The big slide is a very playful element, supported by a metalic structure with wood cladding. Below the slide, there will be hanging platforms, where children will be able to climb, balance and play. The stairs are facing south and constitute a tribune where adults and children can sit to rest, read and socialize.

Initially I worked with hand sketches, 2D drawings and 3D models in order to study different possibilities of design and materiality. Later on, I developed the drawings in a higher detail, and chose specific playing elements from danish suppliers.

04 REFURBISHMENT OF AN APARTMENT IN CHARLOTTENLUND Our task was to design a new facade towards the terrace, and refurbish the kitchen and bathroom, employing custom-made solutions for very ambitious clients. I contributed to the interior design, projecting solutions, Ilustrations, and making a selection of materials and home appliances.

05 RENOVATION OF BATHROOMS AND YARD OF A HOUSING BLOCK IN AMAGER For the yard I purposed a series of designs for the new wooden fence, in order to create an element with interesting aesthetic qualities despite the low budget. I also worked on the design of a new shed for the waste collection. Finally, in collaboration with the building constructor, I drafted the drawings for the renovation of other elements and spaces in the yard.

Residential masterplan Concept + Design development
We aimed to create a housing development in symbiosis with the landscape. A home to live that combines the advantages of the countryside with the possibility to build a strong social community. I worked with the concept development, the masterplan, and the project of the new housingclusters. The process required intense studies of the building possibilities in order to satisfy the ambitious client´s needs in terms of density.

07 TRANSFORMATION OF VRIDSLØSELILLE PRISON Bertelsen & Scheving Arkitekter / Copenhagen 2016 Subject: Phase:
Transformation and urban planning Concept design (Ideoplæg)
In this project I analysed the existing prison, in order to find the most sustainable way of transforming it into an attractive and livable residential building. We decided to keep the existing walls that separated the cells, since demolishing them would require a too expensive and polluting solution, due to their heavy materiality. The building extension added to the facade, allows us connect the original cells and to get extra space for the housing units.
I worked in the conception and drawing of the housing typologies inside the prison building, as well as in the new units of “casa-patio” annexed to the old prison walls. I also developed the masterplan for the whole area, and for the new housing blocks I used a building system combined with private urban gardens, which had been previously developed by Bertelsen & Scheving.
For the masterplan we propose a mixed-use programmatic strategy that will integrate a dense urban residential fabric, productive gardens and space for start-ups and innovation.

We participated in this competition organized by an NGO located in Arusha, Tanzania, which needed a design for their new school.

Our proposal consists of a series of units built with traditional construction techniques and local materials, which are suitable to face the extreme climate conditions of the place. The project is conceived as a self-sufficient school with an urban garden, where vegetables could be grown, with a chicken house and with a system to re-use the rain water.
