THE HANDS DOWN THE BEST GHOST HUNTING TECH GADGET IS: The proton pack, designed by Dr. Egon Spengler, is a manportable particle accelerator system that is used to create a charged particle beam composed of protons - that is fired by the proton gun (also referred to as the “neutrona wand”[citation needed]). Described in the first movie as a “positron collider”, it presumably functions by colliding highenergy positrons to generate its proton beam. The beam allows a Ghostbuster to contain and hold “negatively charged ectoplasmic entities”. This containment ability allows the wielder to position a ghost above a trap for capture.[3] The name proton pack is not used in the original movie at all,[4] and is not used until the subway tunnel scene in Ghostbusters II, when Egon says that they should get their proton packs. The doorman to the Mayor’s mansion also uses the term proton pack as a toy for his little brother. Egon then replies that “A proton pack is not a toy.”

OTHER THAN HAVING A GHOSTBUSTERS PROTON PACK, OBVIOUSLY

EVP Reader

Electronic voice phenomena, or EVP, is the mysterious recording of voices from an unknown source. Where these voices come from (theories include ghosts, other dimensions and our own subconscious) and how they are recorded on various devices is unknown, unless you are a certified ghostbuster. There are many units available but Sony’s sleek design just looks so cool.

Non-Contact IR Thermometer

One of the many occurrences during a ghost hunt is the fluctuation in temperature. They are referred to on the field as “cold spots”. These happenings could indicate a ghostly presence; Of course before you conclude to paranormal evidence, you want to make sure you are correctly evaluating the situation. Using a non-contact IR thermometer can help you get this job done.

ElectroMagnetic Field (EMF) Meters

Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler used PKE meters in Ghostbusters, but “real” ghost hunters use EMF meters as a key part of their specter tracking arsenal. Brian Harnois of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), explains: “Ghost hunters use the meters to look for spikes in the EMF signal, with the spikes suggesting a change in electrical current, and thus a spirit being.”

Thermal Imaging Camera

Darn. We thought we could pick one up at Home Depot this year.

Thermal imaging was memorably featured in the movie Predator, where an alien hunter used its ability to see in the infrared spectrum to track its prey day or night. The thermal imaging camera sees its environment in exactly the same way. It’s one of the most sought-after pieces of equipment used by paranormal investigators. It allows you to see hot or cold spots in any location and track temperature fluctuations in real time. It is, without a doubt, one of the most valuable tools for a ghost hunter

It’s finally here—that time of year when we embrace the ghouls, goblins, other spooky creatures and fun festivities of the night. While for some, the thought of bowls and bags of chocolate and other sweet treats may cause a bit of fright, have no fear this year! There’s plenty of fun to be had by adding these exercises to your workout on Halloween night!

WARMUP: Frankenstein Walk Beginning in a standing position, step forward with the right foot and swing the left leg out in front of the body. Step down with the left foot and swing the right leg out, reaching the left hand toward the right foot.

Cal.210 Fat.0g RUN: 16mihn SWIM: 15min LIFT: 24min

Halloween weekend approaches, and with it, costume parties, girls in “tastefully seductive” costumes and bowls of tastily seductive treats in convenient single-serving packages. But don’t be fooled by words like “fun size” and “snack size.” The next thing you know, one little bite-sized candy bar has become 32 and you’re curled in the corner covered in chocolate, crying and surrounded by nothing but empty wrappers and guilt. Just look how long you have to workout in order to break even on those calories. If it makes you feel any better, we just finished our first bag of candy this morning. On Sept 30th.

AGILITY: Soaring Witch Starting in a standing position, get a “running” start by taking three quick steps to the left. On the third step, shift the weight fully onto the left foot as you draw the right leg behind the left; at the same time, rotate your imaginary broomstick to the outside of your left hip.

Strength: Pouncing Werewolf Begin in downward-facing dog and slowly shift forward, stacking the shoulders over the wrists as you pull the right knee into the chest, rounding the back as you challenge the muscles of the core. Hold for 1-2 seconds in “scared cat” and, as you exhale, step the right foot back and begin to shift your weight back. Moving toward downwardfacing dog, bend the knees deeply, coming into an extended crouching position. Inhale in “pouncing werewolf” and, as you exhale, repeat the movement on the opposite side.

Cool-down: Perched Gargoyle Stand shoulder width apart, toes turned out. Touch the ears, and begin to squeeze the shoulder blades together. Hold for 20-30 sec. as you stretch. Now, slowly begin to lower down into a squat, placing the hands on the ground in between the feet.

*Calories burned from exercise based on a 180-lb. male. Running - 11.5-min. mi.; cycling - easy pace, less than 10 mph. Source: BodyBuilding.com

St.PETERSBURG AREA This is your guide for the people you need to know RIGHT NOW eveyother kid in school wanted to be astronaut. My dad had a usmc tattoo on his arm and my aunt was probably one of the first women to get her face tattooed in the early 90’s, so its always been a part of my life.

FL411: Any future plans? JON: One day I’ll own my own shop when I feel like dealing with the polotics. But for now I just enjoy what I do. Look forward to continue meeting and tattooing people all over! FL411: I am impressed with your skill, how can I get some Ink done by you? JON: I work at suncoast tattoos right on gulf blvd next to Ricks reef and across from the McDs. If anyone wanted to check me out, they can look me or suncoast up on facebook or call my cell at (410) 533-1254 or the shop phone at (727) 575-7935

FL411: Introduce yourself to our readers! JON: I am Jon Schueler, otherwise known as baltimore jon. I am an award winning tattoo artist from baltimore, md. ive been tattooing for 14 years and have been in a couple of tattoo magazines through out my career. my specialties are realizm and black and grey, but i am very diverse and have just as many awards in color as i do black and gray. i moved to florida july last year, and taking over the beach one canvas at a time!!

FL411: Where can we find you on Halloween? JON: Ha. On haloween you could find me anywhere, ecspecially on my favorite holiday. I wont make plans, I just go where the night takes me!!!!!!! FL411: Do you have any halloween tattoo stories? JON: Halloween taattoo stories? I did my color portrait of Michael Myers on halloween. That or I wear crazy eye contacts that I get an interesting response from the customers with lmao!!!!! One year I seran wrapped an apprentice to the door, idk it was halloween lol.

FL411: Say, if any of our readers say they saw you in here, will you hook them up? JON:Def, if anyone comes in and says they saw me from this magazine I would shave 20 bucks or so off the top. I always try to be generous because im better off you walkin around with my work then not! So are you! I look forward to meeting everyone. FL411: Haha, we like the confidence out of you. We also like your work Jon...I think we are going to send our new Interns down for a little initiation tattoo to see it in action. See you soon!

Michelle Wurster Photographer, Artist

Moments of a Lifetime Photography facebook.com/michelle.wurster.75 www.flickr.com/photos/michellewurster/ FL411: Introduce yourself to our readers! Michelle: I am Michelle Wurster, my company is Moments of a Lifetime Photography. I’ve been in Florida for three years. I got started 21 years ago shooting weddings for the local Elks lodge in New Hampshire. Since then I’ve shot hundreds of weddings. I am proudly offering instant printing at special events. It’s something no one else seems to be doing. The guest gets to choose there favorite picture. We make a print or a photo gift, such as magnets or key chain. I set my table up as a photo cash bar or as a custom party favors service. It’s always fun and interactive and everyone loves getting a photo to take home. FL411: Scariest moment you had while holding a camera? Michelle: I left my camera bag outside of a limo to get shots of the bride and groom inside. A car squeezed by the small space and road over my camera bag only crushing a couple 4 packs of film. Glad I had more film and not a crushed $3000 camera. FL411: How are you liking the area? Michelle: I love Florida. I have lived near downtown St. Pete, Dunedin, Seminole and now I live in Indian Rocks Beach. The beach is great. Family beach pictures at weddings at sunset are my favorite to shoot. FL411: I am impressed with your skill, how can I hire you for my next event!?

bout an upcoming benefit concert right here in our backyard? We met with Jeff Thal, Founder and CEO of HavUHeard, Inc and all around cool guy to find out more. He sat us down and informed us of what’s coming, “Our mission is very clear - to better the world and enrich lives through music and art. At HavUHeard we support aspiring, hard-working and extremely talented artists that truly deserve to be seen and heard by the world AND we help children in need by donating portions of our profits to charities, through our non-profit organization. Combined, we aim to provide HOPE for all - touching souls, awakening the spirit, and MOVING MOUNTAINS....with a little help from the arts”. When I first moved here three years back I immediately noticed the amount of talented artists in the area. I asked Jeff how he put the lines between the dots, “HavUHeard, Inc. was originally created as an innovative, unconventional record label as a showcase platform for new, “unheard” of, talented and aspiring musicians that deserve to be heard by the world - but have yet to be due to the incredibly tough nut to crack

called The Music Industry. We are expanding to do the same with unseen art, apparel, aspiring authors and film-makers on top of the music. HavUHelped is our non-profit organization devoted toward the raising and donating money to children’s Charities...ones that we’ve hand-picked and feel passionate about. The ones we know the donations go where it counts. Places where our contributions can make a difference in a child’s life. We donate a generous portion of every sale to these organizations - art, music and much more! It’s our way of strengthening the entire mission of the company.” We went on to ask Jeff where he plans to donate, “We are partnering with the Children’s Home Society of Florida, who is very excited to be working with us on these concert events, and the cause overall.” We’re sure that anyone would be amped to be a part of HavUHeard. Some of the best talent in the area and it’s helping the world...sign us up! You can be sure to find us hanging out at their next show, which is quickly coming up in November. Dubbed, “Rock The Beach” and hosted by Shephard’s Beach Resort on Clearwater Beach, this concert is sure to be remembered! We thanked Jeff for his time and we are excited to be covering HavUHeard, INC as things progress. He left us with one last invite, “Come celebrate with us and enjoy a day of live music, art and more - and help us provide HOPE and culture for the children who will shape our tomorrow!” Now, how can you possibly say no to that? MOVIES&FILM

TOP FIVE

There are those, WHY DID I WATCH THAT kind of movies. They are entertaining and frightening, but some scenes mess with your head so much that change the way you look at the world.

Insanely Terrifying Movies

Inside (A l’interieur)

Session 9

The Conjuring

Martyrs

The Exorcist

The deaths in the movie are brutal and really hammer home the idea that death is not something that is quick and clean. There are some particularly horrifying scenes throughout, but the one that got me was close to the end of the film when…Well, you’ll have to just see it for yourself.

The movie is riff with twists and turns, and is probably most notable for David Caruso of CSI: Miami fame cussing out one of his coworkers. If you’re looking for something a little bit on the cerebral side of horror this Halloween, give Session 9 a shot.

The story is rife with horror imagery including scary dolls, hanging corpses, exorcisms, and other scenes that will make your hair stand on end. One of the main strengths of the movie is that the characters are well developed and generally likeable, so you’re able to feel scared for them.

Changes are fast and furious in this one, and the end is in a completely different place than the beginning. Let me give you all a warning though on this one: It is by no means a “fun” movie. Its ruthless, cold, and bleak in its delivery, but it will absolutely scare the crap out of you, and will really sit with you for days to come.

It’s hardly a surprise with this one. The Exorcist has made countless “Scariest Movies of All Time” lists, and there’s a reason for that. The story of a girl who is possessed by a demon/the devil, and the priests who are trying to save her, has imagery and scenes so frightening, that some folks literally thought the movie itself was possessed and anyone who watched it was cursed.

OCTOBER 2014

HESAID/SHESAID

Some nights seem custom-made for the pickup. New Year’s Eve, everyone wants someone to kiss at the stroke of midnight. Single girls dread Valentines Day and are happy to be approached. In a similar vein, Halloween provides ripe opportunity for the pickup. The very act of dressing up encourages people to leave their normal personalities behind, and the whole evening lends itself to games and casual flirting. Not to say that it’s totally easy. But follow the guide below and you could find yourself being one of the things that goes bump in the night... Costume For once, what you choose to wear out will be first and foremost on your mind this Halloween. The choice of outfit will play a massive part in how successful your evening is. It’s worth putting in extra effort to ensure that you stand out from the masses of vampires, wizards and ghosts. Aim to find something that enhances your better features. If you’ve been hitting the gym a lot, think caveman. If you have a few magic tricks up your sleeve, a magician costume will be a good fit (just make sure you actually use the tricks to stand out from the crowd). Other outfits can be used to give you a persona to step into for the evening, such as that of James Bond. There is also the option of a group theme. This does make the evening more fun, allowing you to find each other and act as each other’s wingmen in character, making it easier to hook up with groups of girls, but you risk losing the impact of a truly individual outfit. Group themes can also become a little tired (“Oh look, another Reservoir Dog...”) and you are locked to that group — problematic if one has too much to drink or makes a pest of himself. Key points to note include making sure you are identifiable (i.e., no masks or full-body gorilla suit); that your costume is not too fiddly (in the event of a hookup, you don’t want to have to wade through miles of bandages) and not too off-putting — very few people want to be leave a party with Hitler. Where to go When choosing what to do on Halloween night, you have two choices: House party or nightclub. If you plan on attending a house party, make sure it has the right vibe. You don’t want to turn up to a Halloween party full of screaming children. Likewise, small parties thrown by groups of close friends don’t create the right atmosphere for picking up. But on the plus side, a house party tends to have a more friendly and open feel, and there may be games and activities to help break the ice. As a rule, the larger the party, the better. People will turn up to a large party expecting to meet new people, rather than just hang with their friends. If you can get away with it, college Halloween parties are usually perfect. The other choice, a nightclub, has different advantages. Being classic pickup locations, women expect to be approached in nightclubs. And when you do find yourself in a conversation, you know there’s more of a chance that she’s interested in you than that she’s just being polite. Given that other guys will be there with the same idea, your approach has to be sharper than the other jerks — but it would be anyway, right? Choosing the right nightclub is important. Make sure that they have something planned for Halloween, instead of just paying lip service to it.

The last thing you want to do is enter a club with a group of bloodstained zombies, only to find yourself surrounded by clubbers in trendy gear. Rock bars and clubs often have elaborate Halloween nights, with clubbers turning up in costume and who are out for a good time. If you like rock music, a decent club will usually throw a Halloween party to rival New Years Eve. How to pick up No matter where you end up, you should take advantage of the party atmosphere to move between groups of people and cover as much ground as possible. Clearly, this is a little easier at a party where you can be introduced around, but it still achievable in a club. The costumes provide a ready-made conversation starter, but don’t overstretch them. Use the costume to break the ice, but avoid a laborious series of puns and allusions. It’s best to stick to more tried-and-tested pickup techniques, with a few Halloween/costume references sprinkled in to keep it relevant and interesting. And above all, be original: The girl dressed as a cat is probably fed up with being offered a saucer of milk — at the very least, try something like, “Hey, you look bored — want me to find you a ball of string?” You can tell a lot about a girl by her choice of Halloween costume... When you do find a worthwhile partner, use the novelty of the evening to spend more time with her. If at a house party, suggest going to bob for apples or some other Halloween game. Games such as this inject fun and casual competition into the approach, and can be an easy way to break the touch barrier. In a nightclub, themed cocktails and shooters provide an easy way to spend time alone with her. Just reading the menu and choosing a drink can give you time to isolate her and work more of your magic. Another approach that fits the feel of the evening is fortune-telling. You don’t have to be master psychic, but knowing the basics of palm reading is a useful technique to advance your game. If you’ve gone out as a themed group, keep an eye out for groups of girls dressed alike. Once conversation is started between a couple of members of the two groups, it becomes natural to join up. Clearly, if your themes match in some way, an approach is made somewhat easier, but two completely different themes can still play together — the important thing is that the members are thinking with a group mind. Be careful with this, though. You could find that being paired with female group is off-putting to other women looking on. tricks and treats So what should you be keeping an eye out for? Girls will have put just as much, if not more, thought into their outfits. Some will be clearly designed to entice men. The classic Halloween pickup costume is the red devil. The trashy outfit, horns and license to be sinful makes a girl dressed like this well worth approaching. A close second is the cat — the more sexed up, the better. Also keep an eye of for the classic male fantasy outfits, typically uniform-based: Nurses, policewomen, maids, etc. These outfits are only worn to catch the eye of men. Any costume that somehow matches yours is worth checking out, just because the initial approach will be easier. Halloween can be a fun way to go about the pickup. Play it right, and it won’t just be ghosts howling.

This is an extreme experience and not sitable for children under 10. Admission: $10; parking is FREE.

This takes a little planning but is well worth it. Pre record 2 audio tracks: Track 1: a five hour recording with 120 mins of silence at the start, gradual heavy breathing increasing in volume, nothing too demonic, just heavy breathing Track 2: a 4 minute recording with 1 min of silence at the start, heavy breathing increasing in speed and volume peaking at 3 minutes, then silence WHAT TO DO: 1) Put an ipod with speakers under the bed with Track 1 on, go to sleep. 2) In the middle of the night when your victim calls out for you to wake you up, you resist. They will keep bugging you to open your eyes. Do so and say “what” and pretend to try the light switch next to the bed (actually changing the ipod to track 2), and say “the light’s not working”. 3) Get out of bed and walk over the main light switch, it wont work either. Turn to your victim and say, (by now they are petrified), “that’s strange, I’m just going to check the fusebox, I will be back in 30 seconds”. 4) 1min after you have left, track 2 kicks in with the heavy breathing. Meanwhile you get into “pouncing mode” and wait 3 minutes until the breathing reaches its climax and stops. Then jump out and scare the living %$#@ our of your victim. Just make sure you record it! Other awesome ways are as follows;

Stare at a random person with a serious face and follow that person This trick of scaring by staring only works on strangers and it can be executed anywhere. Staring can make anybody freak out and get conscious. If you stare somebody particularly in a crowded place then the person starts feeling that there is something wrong with their clothes or face and when the person who you are staring at is on the move then act like you have a hidden weapon in your pocket with which there is a possibility of an attack. The whole idea of an insane person stalking can scare the heck out of anybody. But if, you are not lucky enough then this trick may not work, as everybody is not that afraid.

Take your victim to a haunted house and disappear

Radley Haunted House

3900 19th St. N. St. Petersburg, 33714 Website: facebook.com/radleyhauntedhous Dates & times: Oct. 17-20, 24-27, 29 & 30 | 8p – 12 midnight Scary music, dim lights and incredibly realistic props help make this a theme park-worthy Haunted House. It’s located off the 38th Avenue exit at I-75. This is a very dark space with 2 slight changes of elevation in the dark. 8 and up can handle this scary and intense Haunted House. Admission: Free (**suggested donation $4 per person).

Newton’s Haunts

5600 Newton Ave. S, Gulfport, FL 33707 www.NewtonsHaunts Dates: Oct. 11-12, 18-19, 25-26 at 7:30 p.m. Two haunted houses at one location. The Side Show Massacre and 13 Hallows. Midway Massacre is a Haunted Carnival filled with Clowns that have a Taste for Flesh & Blood. The Hollows is a dark path that will lead you from Fear to Fear. These Haunted houses are not suitable for children and no one under 13 will be admitted without a parent. Admission is $2 per house

Taking your victim with you to the nearest haunted place you know is the deadliest way to frighten someone. Haunted places are usually away from the city where nobody comes so often and such locations are perfect to scare any brave person to death. Before entering the haunted place you can concoct a scary story to tell your target so that when you are in the house, the fear is more realistic. Steal a moment to disappear somewhere in the house and then you will see how effectively the trick can work. This is a terrific way to scare someone and it would be better if you don’t play this prank on someone who is meek and has a weak heart.

AMBER DAVIS Now is the Right Time To Buy! Great Prices & Low Interest Rates Won’t Last Forever!

REAL ESTATE = REAL INVESTMENT Work with a Realtor you can trust for local knowledge and honest representation.

REAL ESTATE There are several first time home buyer programs you can get involved in and a free class that will teach you many of the things you will need to know when you do buy your first home. The Pinellas County Housing Programs are a good place to start with links to first time home buyer programs, classes and grants to help you get started. In order to know how much home you will be able to shop for (price) you should speak with a mortgage specialist to get qualified for a loan. This professional lender can help you understand what steps you can take now to ensure you are ready when the time comes.

Ambers Advice 1. Go to websites like Zillow and Trulia to help you get a clear picture of home prices in the area you want to buy. Visit our website at www. IslandEstatesRealty.com and create and save your own search that will present you with all the possibilities within your price range and location. 2. There are several websites that you can visit to determine what your payment will be when purchasing a home. Try Bankrate.com’s mortgage calculator, don’t forget to put in the taxes and a realistic interest rate to get a better picture of your expenses. 3. Consider your total monthly cost of home ownership. MSN Real Estate has a home affordability calculator that can assist with this. Think about taxes, insurance, utilities, and saving a little each month for the occasional appliance replacement or other repairs.

HEY

Time

st

HOME BUYER!

Buying your first home can be an intimidating experience unless you educate yourself first. Owning a home can be one of the most satisfying things you can do and it can be a good way to start building wealth for your future. In order to buy a home there are several things you will want to consider. A down payment will be necessary and if you qualify for an FHA or federally backed mortgage you can get into a home for as little as 3% of the home’s sale price. You can save for that down payment or if you are lucky enough to have generous family members you can be given the down payment as a gift.

4. If you have no idea of what you will pay for insurance you can enlist the help of an insurance agent for an estimate. Select a home in your price range and area and call them to ask for a quote. This is a no obligation quote and will help you get a good idea of what you will need to spend monthly for your insurance. Property tax amounts are generally listed on Zillow or the MLS, however your taxes may differ when you buy due to exemptions you can take such as Homestead Exemptions here in Florida for being a resident and living in the home you buy full time. 5. Ask about closing costs. Your lender will be able to assist with this by explaining to you the origination fees and the cost of the borrowing or refer you to a title agent that can give you a general idea of things like title insurance, document recording, deed transfers, and closing fees. 6. Now you have a good idea of the costs associated with making the purchase so it is time to take a serious look at your budget. When you qualified for the loan with your mortgage broker or loan officer they likely explained to you that you should spend no more that 30% of your monthly income on your housing. Fannie Mae recommends that buyers spend 28% or less to live comfortably in your new home. 7. Talk to a reputable Realtor that works in your chosen area to learn about the market and the homes available. You will want to understand the real estate market enough to know if home sales are strong or if prices are rising or falling. Let your Realtor help you find the right home at the right price. They can assist in negotiating the best price and conditions when you are ready. A Realtor can also help you with referrals to mortgage lenders, insurance companies, first time home buyer classes and general information to help you make an educated decision about whether you are ready to make the move. So if you are ready or if you are just getting ready take some time to build yourself a folder of information about the things you need to do before buying. Go to a class, read articles that have information about making your first purchase a great deal. Remember Real Estate = Real Investment in your future.

SPORTSTALK Florida approves a H.S. football national bowl series for December Some of the country’s top high school football players could face off in a State Champions Bowl Series this December. … There could be a high school football championship bowl series this year – but it won’t necessarily feature the nation’s best teams. The Florida High School Athletics Association on Monday approved a plan for three bowl games to be played in Boca Raton in late December. The series is tentatively called the State Champions Bowl Series and is being organized by Paragon Sports Marketing, the Illinois company that created basketball’s National High School Invitational (now called the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School National Tournament). Paragon will oversee the selection committee, making all decisions after each state has finished its respective championship games. The Orlando Sun Sentinel reports that selection will be based on national rankings from USA Today and others, and schools must be part of their state athletic associations, which must be part of the National Federation of High School Associations, in order to play. They’re all welcome, but that doesn’t mean they’ll all be interested. Coaches from Texas, home to five of the Top 25 schools in the current MaxPreps rankings, told the Dallas Morning News that no schools from the state will be participating, mainly because their schedule is already long enough.

Rebecca Brutlag, media relations officer for the California Interscholastic Federation, told Yahoo Sports that it’s unlikely that California teams will make it this year, because it’s too late to be starting the process. All of the federation’s 1,551 member schools will have to vote on the issue. Georgia has a bylaw prohibiting bowl games or national championships. MaxPreps has four California schools and two Georgia schools in the Xcellent 25. That’s already 11 top schools definitely not participating (and 7 of the top 10). FHSAA executive director Robert Dearing told the Dallas Morning News that they’ll let two of the state’s team participate. There are four Florida schools ranked, so that knocks out another two of the best. Dearing added that 11 states have been approached. ESPNU is reportedly going to air the games, which are scheduled for noon, 4 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 27 (nearly a month after football season ends in some states, only a week after California’s championship bowl games). Paragon will be giving either a cash ($12,500) or merchandise ($25,000 worth) reward, or a combination of the two, to participating teams. The contract with FHSAA also guarantees at least $10,000 in annual rights fees for allowing FHSAA schools to participate, and an additional $40,000 if a school is selected to play in the SCBS. So much for high school players getting to enjoy the holiday break – or trying to play high school basketball, which is well underway by Dec. 27. According to the contract with FHSAA, Paragon has until Oct. 31 to cancel the event.

3 DAUGHTERS BREWING Family. Beer. Community. Our story begins in 1888, in Lexington Kentucky when Wilhelm Harting co-founded the Liugart & Harting brewery with the dream to brew great beer. 150 years later, that legacy is remembered by a brick inlaid in the 3DB bar. It reminds us to live up to the proud tradition started in Kentucky by creating a warm environment where friends, family, retailers and consumers can enjoy the best craft beer has to offer. At 3DB, our goal is to create bold, innovative and amazing beer. We believe that craft brewing creates a unique style of beer and each brew has distinguishing characteristics and a great story to tell. Whether you tip a pint of our highly drinkable Beach Blonde Ale or our limited reserve Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter, we hope you’ll savor the diverse flavors and aromas that drive our beers. If a picture is worth 1,000 words, a snapshot of the 3DB bar helps to tell our story. Opposite the brick that represents our brewing history are 3 sets of hand-prints that serve as the namesake for 3 Daughters Brewing. What we hope to find in between is our family, friends and colleagues enjoying 3DB beer. See you there! And yes, we’re local. Stop by our tasting room at 222 22nd Street South St. Petersburg, FL 33712. Want to schedule a tour? Call (727) 495-6002 to reserve a time.
