This past year has been another historic one for Jax State. We celebrated a Conference USA Football Championship and made our second bowl appearance in just two years of eligibility. As we turn the page to a new era under Coach Charles Kelly, we are excited for the future of our football program. Men’s Basketball also made history, earning its first-ever bid to the National Invitational Tournament after playing for the CUSA Championship. And our Bowling team looks to defend the school’s first NCAA Division I National Championship.
Beyond competition, we are committed to ensuring our student-athletes thrive in all areas of life. Through academic support, leadership training, and career development, we are preparing them for success well beyond their playing days. Our new initiative, Jax State Era, is designed to provide them with the resources and opportunities they need in this evolving college athletics landscape.
As we continue to build upon the momentum of our first two years in Conference USA, we need your continued support to enhance facilities, expand resources, and provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes. With today’s new era of collegiate athletics, Jax State Athletics announces the Jax State Era, a new stand-alone entity within the Jax State Athletic Foundation aimed at developing and strengthening a new business model to enhance athletic and financial success for Gamecock student-athletes.
Jax State Era represents Excellence, Revenue, and Administration, serving as an in-house NIL operation. Its mission is to drive competitive excellence through an innovative and best-in-class revenue-sharing model built to recruit and retain Gamecock talent in the pursuit of conference and national championships.
