KC Golden Gloves has supported amateur boxing for more than 80 years, with the first regional KC Golden Gloves tournament taking place in February 1936. The KC Golden Gloves Regional Championships is Kansas City’s longest-running sporting event.

KC Golden Gloves has influenced the lives of more than 35,000 youth since its inception in 1936. We support 15 of the premier local boxing clubs in the Kansas City area by providing equipment, training, covering travel expenses and hosting tournaments.

O WHAT WE D Support to local boxing clubs: KC Golden Gloves provides equipment, coach certifications and training to boxing gyms in the Kansas City area. We also help establish new boxing clubs in the metro, host competitive tournaments and support officials. KC Golden Gloves is proud to support these outstanding athletes and next-generation community leaders.
