JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore was established in the year 1973. The campus of JCPM is spread over 10 acres of land. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore is recognised by the Government of Karnataka. The institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. JCPM is ISO 9001:2008 Certified. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The total number of faculty members at the institute is 57 and the total students’ enrollment is 966.
JCPM is a constituent college of JSS Academy of Higher education and Research. The college has been ranked 9th in the pharmacy category by the NIRF in 2021.

JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore Eligibility Criteria
D.Pharm: 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
B.Pharm: 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects.
B.Pharm Lateral Entry: 50% marks in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the PCI.
B.Pharm Practice: Candidates should have 50% marks in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the PCI.
PG Diploma: 50% marks in the B.Pharm/MBBS/BDS/BAMS/B.Sc examination from a recognised institute/university.
M.Pharm: 55% marks in the B.Pharm examination.
Pharm.D: D.Pharm or 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology.

JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore provides admission to diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Students aspiring to take admission to the JCPM courses will have to meet the eligibility criteria. JCPM admission to diploma, PG diploma and doctoral course will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the last qualifying examination. For admission to the B.Pharm course, students have to appear and qualify the entrance examination conducted by
the JSSAHER, Mysuru. JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore admission to the M.Pharm course will be done on the basis of the students’ performance in the GPAT examination. Eligible candidates have to fill an online application form.
Next students have to appear and qualify the entrance examination conducted by the JSSAHER, Mysuru.
Shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2 examination and an entrance examination.
Final JCPM admission will be given to the students after verification of documents and fee payment.

Boys Hostel
JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore provides accommodation facilities to the boys’ students. Facilities such as a water cooler, study table and chair are available for the students. Recreational facilities are also provided to the hostel students.
Girls Hostel
JCPM provides separate hostel facilities for the girls. A common room is also available where students can visit for group studies, watching television, playing games, etc.
