“There is no such thing as a child who hates to read; there are only children who have not found the right book.” ― Frank Serafini #juabpride

Students, teachers, and administrators from around the state gathered in Salt Lake for the inaugural District Day on the Hill. Of 41 districts, 17 were represented with booths, performances, and students leaders. Student body officers at Juab High were given a tour of the Capitol and the chance to talk to politicians and community leaders throughout the day. The JHS choir performed on the steps as part of the schedule (pictured above). “District Day on the Hill was such an amazing experience. The atmosphere was truly electric!” said SBO President Hunter Steele. Of the day, SBO Maverick Pexton also said, “District Day on the Hill was an incredible opportunity to showcase everything great about Juab School District! I loved the opportunity I received and I was able to learn so much!”

“Rigor is not an attribute of a text but rather a characteristic of our behavior with that text.” ― Kylene Beers, Notice & Note: Strategies for Close Reading

The display included creations from the CTE department and art students, student profile cards, and graduation regalia. JUAB SCHOOL DISTRICT
