J Schneider Studio was founded in 2018 by Jeff Schneider. Jeff received his BFA in Studio Art and worked as a glassblower in Texas at several different shops prior to spending 15 years in commercial and residential construction management. Our full service metal fabrication and glass shop allows us to offer the most comprehensive approach available to both structural and ornamental steel work, custom lighting design and hand blown glass.

The J Schneider Studio team has been fortunate enough to work help bring so many amazing designs and projects into existence since its inception. We are always looking for the opportunity to grow, assist with design, and fully fabricate amazing projects for amazing people. ORNAMENTAL METALS

In addition to the work we perform for designers and builders, we also produce an in house line of furnishings made on demand. Our amazing team is skilled in working with all types of metals. We have a fantastically well equipped studio with CNC machines, a variety of benders and brakes, and of course the latest in welding technology. We offer a turn key experience from design to finishing and installation. Three dimensional shop drawings will be produced for approval on all projects. We have the ability to paint, patina, powder coat, and even chrome any material in a vast array of colors. STRUCTURAL STEEL

We specialize in structural steel for luxury custom homes and small to medium commercial structures and we would be happy to talk to you about your next project. We use advanced OST software to ensure accuracy in the bidding process. We will provide three-dimensional renderings of the project, advanced shop drawings of connection details, and a color-coded installation plan for the structure. Hej Howdy takes a bold approach to modern living with glass as an essential part of the home. Rooted in Texan and Scandinavian backgrounds, we create objects that unify an enduring aesthetic, functionality, and craftsmanship with a big expression. Hej Howdy’s work is process of sustainable practices and materials to produce handmade and unique pieces. We embody a freespirited positive approach to our designs and at the same time, place great emphasis on lighting.

MADE IN TEXAS//DESIGNED IN DENMARK

Hej Howdy is proudly 100% made in the Texas. The handblown glass is achieved with a high-tech, hands-on process by Jeff, and Kaelea leads color and graphic design as well as brand voice and social media/marketing functions. The two initiated the brand Hej Howdy together in 2020 and continue to work together across the pond.

CUSTOM FINISHES

Our ability to provide a fully custom finish makes us a one stop shop. Whether you need us to build and finish or just provide blackening, patina, or chrome services please reach out. We can have every color imaginable applied to your metal object, we offer a vast variety of patinas and chemical finishes which can be executed either in our shop or on site. We added chrome to our capabilities for 2024 Our chrome system can be applied over any substrate that is of a porous material such as wood, plaster, urethane, foam, etc. With a wide array of colors, including most popular options such as gold, bronze, black, and brass, our system makes it simple to produce the most upscale look and feel.

BLOWN GLASS

Our founder has been blowing glass since 1998 and it is truly his favorite material to work with. There is truly nothing on the planet like it. Any shape can be made using skills and techniques that trace back hundreds to thousands of years. Jeff is represented by a few galleries and has been in many shows over the years but his main focus is on our gallery at J Schneider Studio and lighting company Hej Howdy.
