On behalf of the Sunshine Coast District Bowls Association and all of our member clubs, we welcome all bowlers and visitors to our 2019 Winter Bowls Carnival.
This will be the 57th year our Carnival has been running and last year we exceeded all records for participation and competition and we expect this year to be even better. A special mention of our New Zealand visitors who are a significant group in our carnival.
We continue to be impressed by the calibre of bowlers’ playing in these events, which are designed to cater for bowlers of all levels so that the chances of doing well are enhanced as much as possible. We are continually trying different events based on feedback from those who participate; for example, this year, we will have extra events, some being half days, so that you are able to not only enjoy your bowls but also have the time and opportunity to visit the many places of interest within our region.
