To me, design is about exploring beauty in things. Aesthetic is a work of art that shows great beauty. Giving a attractive outlook of any design is a kind respect to its functionality. Any great ideas deserve a beautiful package to enhance its connotation.
I was majored in product design at university. I believe products can be more than functions. Products can bring joy to people, make lives better and help people mentally.
I also enjoy doing graphic design, it is really intereting to use different ways to express a product, brand or story.
Creating illustration is my passion. I use illustrations to tell my ideas, to record memories and feelings. There are so many styles of drawing and I am excited to try them all.
Be inspired by random stuff, observe in daily routine. Something you see every day might surprise you.

Accessories or jewelry design is my favourite category. Beauty could be enhance by jewelries. They make people feel more confident. They also present high aesthetic value in small pieces.
That’s Chong is a wedding accessories company. They also do customise accessories for customers who have special requirements. The learning objectives of my internship are to understand the market trends of fashion accessories design, to experience physical production process of products and some basic marketing techniques.
The first thing that came to my mind was flower because I view flowers as the standard of aesthetic. Yet, flowers are a really common element for accessories. Therefore, I was inspired and came up with the idea of a crystal chandelier when I was doing more research.
Before I start to make accessories, I used collages to develop my ideas. That was an effective way to comfine elements and get a rough idea of the size.

Since I was little, I was obsessed with shimmery, shiny, or iridescent things like glitter. In my own brand, I use a lot of crystals, glitter, and shiny parts Even though aesthetics is very subjective. I believe that if I create something that I truly love, people would appreciate it.
The main product of Glint Accessories was inspired by patterns of oriental tiles. I was impressed by the details and created this metal tiles earrings collection with different patterns, sizes and colours.
This design has extended to another collection- hand-painted tiles. All the patterns on the earrings are painted by hand.

In the Tokyo Toy Museum, there are so mamy Japnese toys with fascinating details which show strong Japanese art and culture.
Kids can arrange the pieces in their own way to train organization skills . Delicate hand painted wood craft is also ideal for home or office decoration.
Origami is the art of paper folding associated with Japanese culture. This project was an investigation of paper folding methods and materials that can possibly be folded. I want an aesthetic design but also something simple that can fit into any environment.

A wired LED light is assembled on the base under the origami. A faint light is emitted through the semi transparent tracing paper.

The design provides three functions including recording, essential oil diffusion and cable management functions. Blue and pink are the main colours for the design because blue identifies calmness and pink identifies cheerfulness or love.
Digital voice recorder module for dolls is installed inside cheerpal. customers can pre-record their message by pressing the button on the belly before giving cheerpal to their friend. The person who received cheerpal as a gift could listen to the audio whenever they feel down. They can also record their own feelings relieve stress or negative emotions.
The little box on the back of cheerpal contains some lava stones which release fragrance. We used magnetic design so that the doll and the container can be easily disconnect for the cable management function.
Cheerpal is our friend and working partner, he or she will be with you anytime around your working area such as hanging on your laptop
Users can first remove the container from the body, then stick the double sided strong patch we provide to secure Cheerpal anywhere they want. Any cable can be attached to Cheerpal with its hands as there are gaps in the hands for hanging on the laptop
There are two sets of special editions. We have chosen one country from Asia and one from Europe. The designs were inspired by patterns from Japanese Kimono and Turkish oriental tile.
I enjoy painting on huge canvases and I was lucky to have the opportunity to paint on some walls in different places. Those were great experience and valuable chance to practice my painting skills on mural painting.
