the veRy fiRst demo I developed was in unReal enGine. I am a BiG fan of hoRRoR-suRvival Games, so I decided to Go Go foR a walkinG simulatoR with a lot of GRotesque elements. you Go on a small hunt foR youR missinG oRGans, staRtinG in a foRest level followed By a concRete maze. I incoRpoRated my own aRtwoRks into the concRete maze staGe, they aRe featuRed in paintinGs on the wall.
the look of the Game emulates a RetRo kind of feelinG. “doom” (1993) was the InspiRation foR the inteRface. assets weRe downloaded via the epic Games l BRaRy and cGtRadeR.

the assiGnment in my “inteRactive media” class was to develop a piece of media with a “spoRty topic”. we weRe encouRaGed to Get cReative with ouR pRoJect, so decided to educate people aBout safety in open wateRs with a comedic twist. two lifeGuaRds Give you impoRtant lessons thRouGhout the Game and you have to RememBeR eveRythinG they said to pass theiR test. while that is GoinG on, you may also fliRt with one of the two. It’s meant to have an educational puRpose while also BeinG a fun expeRience.

the Game is supposed to Be a paRody of dRinkinG Games, executed in the most liteRal sense. the alcoholic BeveRaGes weRe tRanslated into chaRacteRs who must chase foR the Golden liquoR Bottle in the middle. you can Get theRe By completinG tasks you would most likely heaR in “tRuth oR daRe”.

as an InteRn at the “fRitz Gnad” studio was aBle to woRk at pRoJects foR GeRman puBlic-seRvice television BRoadcasteRs.
I used pRoGRams like BlendeR, makehuman and unReal enGine to develop 3d-sceneRies and animations which weRe lateR featuRed in documentaRies.
fRitz Gnad encouRaGed me to step out of my comfoRt zones and diRected my woRk to GReat success.

In my “aRt and composition” class I was asked to come up with 6 distinct pictoGRams that Relate to a topic of my choice I decided to conceptualize waRninG siGns foR a fictional zomBie apocalypse in flat desiGn.

as a cReative pRoJect, I came up with a RepResentative posteR foR the famous font “couRieR new”.
as it is a typewRiteR font, I wanted to make it look like the sentence “the quick BRown fox Jumps oveR the lazy doG” was wRitten oveR and oveR with a typewRiteR.

foR my fictional skateBoaRd BRand I was eaGeR to comBine two unusal topics with one anotheR: skatinG and dRaG queens.
my loGo foR my BRand is playful yet stRuctuRized, which was an conscious desiGn decision on my paRt. It featuRes a fiGuRative maRk that functions as Both a silhouette with a wiG on and also as the fiRst two letteRs of my BRand’s name.

the intentions of the GRaphic illustRations weRe similaR to the appRoach of my loGo concept.
the stRuctuRe comes fRom the symmetRy, the playfulness fRom the coloRs and the linewoRk. it caRRies on the leGacy of my initial thouGhts.
the aRt of dRaG has its Root in individualism and confidence so my illustRations had to Give off the same viBe while at the same time lookinG Good on the Backside of a skateBoaRd.
