project description : tartine bakery is opening a flagship restaurant in Orlando, Florida on the corner of Pine and Magnolia. This location is an inviting, easy lounging bakery where you can connect with others and enjoy a nice baked good and cup of coffee as you please. There are plenty of seating options where you can be private in public or in large groups while surrounded by delicious baked treats, delightful drinks, and comfortable atmospheres. The smell of bread and possibilty for a beautiful day fill the space.
client : Chef Chad Cobertson is a lover of the culinary world, the comforts and safety of home, companionship, and togetherness, but most specifically a beautifully baked treat. He cares deeply about beautiful bread with gorgeous flavor and from this love and dedication, he created a world famous sourdough and the influential bakery, tartine He loves working with other culinary artists and establishing collaborative connections and growing together through food and time spent together. From these priorities, he created bakeries that serve as comfortable spaces to enjoy fantastic food and settle in for conversation or just stop by. He wants people to feel at home anywhere, taste flavor everywhere, never sacrifice freshness, and spur up the potential within the community.
Upon entering the threshold of tartine, the aroma of freshly baked bread, the sounds of happy patrons, the comfort of home, and the refreshing atmosphere flood your senses to create a sense of welcome and belonging. Feel free to settle in or just stop by for a satisfying treat that can be shared with others in your community.

solo project studio I project residential sophomore year : summer 2022 instructor prof. sue napper
technology used procreate, adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, microsoft excel sheets, google slides, hand drafting/rendering
project description for the residential design studio, we were given some celebrity client options and a space to customize for them as a vacation condominium, or a second home where they can go and have privacy to relax away from the busy lifestyles they live day-to-day. there is an emphasis on small-scale living areas that accommodate the specific needs and interests of the client. this project serves as a hands-on opportunity to learn the ins and outs of residential interior design and its principles.
i designed a custom/personal condominium for famous stylist and model Linda Rodin. this space is eclectic and colorful with plenty of opportunities for comfort and customization for her lifestyle and aesthetic. the space appreciates and allows for her tendency to collect things and be sentimental and enhance her neoteric mindset while inviting her and her beloved pup Winky into a safe space to unwind.
client Linda Rodin, a fashion icon and model, has been in NYC since the 70s and is a sentimental woman. she has been a stylist and model for years, she owned a successful beauty company called RODIN that focused on natural beauty. she studied in Italy for a few years and developed a love for all things Mediterranean. she shares a knickknack adorned small apartment in Manhattan with her beloved pup Winky who she would likely bring with her to her condo..
concept : neoteric sentimentality
Linda Rodin is a sentimental gal from NYC who loves looking forward in fashion. when designing this space, a mixture of intricate, eclectic elements with plenty of spaces for customization lends itself to a novel, newness while celebrating the antique therefore marrying two things Linda adores. she must feel at home here so she has space to display her collections but also build upon them with ease. there are also Mediterranean features spread about to recall her other home and love, Italy.

solo model making projects fall 2021 - spring 2022
class related models overseen by: prof. gordon nicholson & prof. michael o’brien
materials used : bristol paper, basswood, CA glue, tacky glue, acrylic paint, toothpicks, polymer clay, & white fishnet tights
project descriptions : this is a collection of little buildings and form studies completed either as part of a class assignment or for creative stress relief. the models are all made out of hand-cut wood or cardstock. creating spaces and little worlds is the essence of what interior designers and architects do so why not take some of that passion and make it crafty.
the wooden structure is a little fishing hut made as the subject of a process video for a digital communications class, it was also a stress reliever.
the assortment of bristol paper cubes is from my form, space, & order studio where we took a look at the principles & elements of design then put them into practice.
the bristol paper structure was the final assignment for the form, space, & order study standing as a culmination of some of the lessons learned throughout the course. the project was to create a writers retreat along with a specialty book space special building behind the retreat for book collection, storage, and more.
