Greetings, everyone!

I am grateful to be able to send the warmest welcome to our members of SPE ITS SC 20/21 this time through our newest edition of Petropolis.

We started this stewardship with the thought of how SPE ITS SC could give more access to our members along with providing and facilitating every one of you a series of knowledge coming from various kinds of forms to ease everyone in learning about oil and gas. We also envision how the work programs from SPE ITS SC, in any kind of forms, would be able to give impactful developments to each of the members and boards, along with developing this organization to its predominance in gradual learning, working integration, and generating agility to the current situation we are in.

Keeping these purposes in mind, we realize that developing our current magazine, PETROPOLIS would be one of the great answers we needed. PETROPOLIS is one of the ways we utilize in order to give out a complete package of information, ranging from various kinds of forms and topics discussed with the professionals, exclusively to our members.

We sincerely hope that the goodwill we put in and the hard work every board had given in creating this magazine, would create a good cause and give new insights to every reader.

The Journalism division proudly presents to you Volume 3 of PETROPOLIS, bringing the grand theme of ‘Breakthrough’! With this magazine, we look back on the past year of 2020 and try to relive all the good things that came out of it, despite the hardships.

We see numerous innovations in the field of healthcare, a new urgency of human resources management, countless changes in the field of communication, and many more in such a short period. We, humans, are pushed to adapt in a shocking realm of COVID-19.
