World’s Concern
Is The Future Always Outside and Beyond Earth?
The essential component of the world’s green energy future is always up for debate, but no one can simply justify its correctness and essence. Many argued that the end of fossil fuel isn’t engineered by the process of creating electricity but by the moderation of politics amongst advocates. Thanks! Especially to those who venture deep under the soil to find the abundance of heat generated from our core. This is the future! Geothermal.

Supported by improvements in technology, specifically the deep-drilling technologies, many governments are racing to how efficiently they can transfer this heat energy into desired energies for the community. When we think of pumping up this heat towards the surface using the media of water, the natural law of science helps us solve this problem. With the nature of thermodynamics, heat can naturally find its way towards higher altitudes hence pushing the cycle, and using gravity we can insert cold water back to where it belongs to maintain the natural phenomenon.
Courtesy of the U.S. Department of Energy there is an illustration of how various geothermal technologies work.
The geothermal Heat pump and the Hydrothermal heat pump use conventional ways of creating electricity. The future of geothermal energy lies within EGS, previously geothermal energy sites fundamentally need the presence of heat, water, and permeability whilst EGS can continue to operate without underground water reservoirs. Simply speaking, we drill deep enough to fracture a hot rock formation, and then water is injected inside which will quickly be heated by the rock and the steam would go back up the surface powering up a generator.
Frankly speaking, the distant future for the next century will not always be about gazing upon the stars and looking far beyond the horizon of the universe but it is right beneath our feet.
