DEAR MEMBERS, As part of our efforts to enhance the Snowmass Club, we recently conducted several focus groups to help us identify and clarify our brand through the voice of our Members. Your candid thoughts and feedback have been critical in helping to focus our branding efforts and better understand our overall value proposition. I am grateful for your support and hope that you will keep your ideas and thoughts coming.

Among the many takeaways, I realize that I have been less clear than I could have been about our ownership team, and some of our plans for the Club. From what I’ve heard, you’d like to learn more about “who we are” and “why we are here.” As such, I thought I’d expand on this by sharing some additional background on myself and the rest of the Snowmass Club team.

WHO AM I? I am 54. I’ve been married to my wife Jacqueline for 25 years and we have 2 sons (Justin 19 and Daniel 17). I live in northern New Jersey where I serve as CEO of our family company, Woodmont Properties, a real estate investment, operations and development company started by my father, who remains my mentor both in my professional and personal life. I am humbled and proud to lead a hard-working team at Woodmont Properties that builds thousands of homes and invests in mid- to large-scale real estate opportunities that advance and support our community.

My approach to business has been shaped by family and influenced by the many experiences we have been fortunate to share together. I believe in the fundamental power of community, and I have devoted my career to building and enhancing places that bring people closer together — whether through real estate, golf and tennis clubs, or hospitality businesses.

Ultimately, my success is defined not by financial rewards, but by the significance of the places I help to create, and how those places positively contribute to people’s lives. I’m lucky to have inherited a strong moral compass from my parents, and I rely on it regularly.

WHY AM I HERE? I am here for the same reasons that most people choose to belong to the Snowmass Club — the natural beauty, the incredible facility, and the amazing community of people. I’ve been coming to the Aspen/Snowmass area since I was 18 years old, and we own a second home in downtown Aspen. Our family enjoys time here in the summer — playing golf and tennis, hiking, mountain biking and just being outdoors — and we come here several times each winter to ski and reconnect. This is truly my happy place.

When the opportunity to invest in the Snowmass Club presented itself, I knew it was something I wanted to be personally involved in, and I am lucky to be teamed up with three other investors (each with a 10 percent ownership stake). Together, we bring the expertise and perspective to help make the Snowmass Club one of the top year-round mountain clubs in the world. While this is obviously very valuable real estate, I believe that the Snowmass Club’s long-range success is based first and foremost on its merits as a private members club — and our ability to attract and retain members.

WHAT’S THE PLAN? As the Aspen/Snowmass area evolves, so too must our Club. The entire Snowmass Club team is focused on improving our facilities and services, and we want to do it right. There is important work ahead of us and we must be thoughtful and strategic.

Nevertheless, we are committed to investing the necessary capital to make the Snowmass Club a vital and thriving part of this community for many years to come.

Our plan focuses on three areas: re-engineering the operations, refining the member experience, and revitalizing the amenities.

One of our first big steps towards re-engineering our operations was to recruit a top-notch General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. I’m excited that one of the private club industry’s best, Rick Sussman, is now at the helm of our operations. Rick’s extensive background and leadership expertise is essentially unrivaled in the private club industry.

Since he and his wife moved to Snowmass a few months ago, Rick has been busy redefining our operating and service standards, improving our ability to attract and retain great team members, and working to remove barriers to empower his team in new ways. These efforts set the foundation for delivering more consistent service levels and will allow us to introduce new member experiences that make our Club more meaningful and enjoyable for you.

We are currently planning and prioritizing improvements to the Club’s amenities. The conceptual drawings and renderings you’ve seen around the Club are being updated and refined by a local firm to reflect some of the preliminary feedback we’ve received, and we look forward to sharing them with you upon completion.

In addition to investing in our facilities, I want to assure all of you that the ownership team is committed to investing and supporting the ladies and gentlemen who provide the services and experiences that our membership appreciates and enjoys. Rick is fully empowered to make the decisions necessary to reinvigorate our ability to provide best-in-class experiences for you and your guests. As you read through the profiles and backgrounds of our team members in this document, I hope you’ll be inspired to get to know them better. We have a tremendous team!

E RIC WIT MON DT OWNER

After years of working alongside his father, Donald, Eric Witmondt took over the leadership of Woodmont Properties in 1999, elevating the company’s status as a significant real estate investor, operator and developer.

Under his leadership, Woodmont has grown to one of New Jersey’s most active developers of commercial and residential real estate, and has become a significant investor in hospitality businesses and golf and tennis clubs including Edgewood Country Club (River Vale, New Jersey), Green Brook Country Club (North Caldwell, New Jersey), and the historic Orange Lawn Tennis Club (South Orange, New Jersey).

Eric has assembled a top-notch executive team at Woodmont Properties with a strong ability to execute and scaleup. As the company has continued to grow into a full-service real estate firm that develops, manages, markets and invests in luxury multifamily, mixeduse, commercial properties and the hospitality business, Eric has been steadfast in his commitment to providing the best places for people to live, work and play.

As a result of Eric’s vision, Woodmont has been on the forefront of some of the most award winning and well-recognized projects and has consistently formed successful partnerships in support of the communities in which they work.

Eric holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. He and his wife have two sons, and own a second home in downtown Aspen.

MARSHAL L T YC HE R O W NER Marshall is co-founder and Executive Chairman of Roseland Residential Trust, which oversees a $1 billion development program and the operation of 8,000 apartments as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation. Marshall owns 10 percent of the Snowmass Club.

He began his career with Lincoln Property Company, and during his 14-year tenure there established Lincoln Northeast Residential. He developed 11,000 apartments in eight states while with Lincoln.

Marshall received a BSBA from the University of Denver, a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University, and is a member of the Texas State Bar. He is married and lives in New York City.

SCO TT BR OW N O W NER Scott is an Aspen-area native, attending Aspen High School before his family moved to Boulder.

He is the CEO of ABA Hospitality, a real estate investment and management firm with offices in San Francisco and Naples, Florida, primarily focused on luxury high-rise condominiums and hospitality industry properties.

Scott owns 10 percent of the Snowmass Club and served an integral role during, and immediately following, the ownership transition in 2018 by taking on day-to-day operations responsibilities and building critical relationships within the membership and local community on behalf of the new ownership team.

Scott and his wife and three children moved from San Francisco to Snowmass Village in 2017 to be closer to his Rocky Mountain roots.

He has since passed operations responsibilities for the Snowmass Club to its new GM/COO and is pursuing other business interests.

JORDAN SAR ICK O W NER Jordan leads Samuel Sarick Limited and its affiliate company Eastwood Developments, both familyowned holding companies specializing in diversified real estate investment, development and construction throughout the United States and Canada. Jordan owns 10 percent of the Snowmass Club.

While Jordan’s most notable local projects include owning and managing commercial spaces at Aspen Highlands and the Snowmass Center, the Sarick family has established a trusted reputation for expertise in all aspects of commercial and industrial real estate, as well as for their philanthropic and cultural commitment to the community.

A longtime Aspen resident, Jordan is active with organizations including Mount Sinai Hospital, Aspen Jewish Congregation, and Upper Canada College.

Jordan holds an undergraduate degree from Vassar College and graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He and his wife have one son, and have been foster parents for nearly 20 years.

RICK SU S S M AN C H I EF OPERATI NG OFFICER / GEN ERAL M ANAGE R Since arriving at Snowmass Club a few months ago, one of my primary areas of focus has been to fully understand the opportunities and challenges ahead of us, and to empower our team to provide the best experience possible for our Members and guests.

While we have much to do, our team is working to “Enhance Every Day.�

As part of this renewed service philosophy, we are establishing consistent standards of service, implementing new and more effective processes and systems, and building a team-based culture that reflects the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the Snowmass Club. The foundation to all of this is maintaining a great team that consistently provides a personalized level of hospitality consistent with top tier private clubs.

Having only just gotten to know our team members recently, I can tell you that we have an exceptional group comprised of dynamic personalities, representing a variety of impressive professional backgrounds and amazing personal experiences.

While creating a more personalized level of hospitality means getting to know each of you better, I think a good first step is to re-introduce our team to you. As such, leaders from each area of the Club have compiled a brief biography, sharing a little more about themselves both personally and professionally.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? I have been presented with an incredible opportunity to work with a great team, new owners and passionate Members. I have seen wonders all around the world, but what I experience in Aspen/Snowmass amazes me. The potential of this facility and this club is really exciting. I am thrilled to be here!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with Snowmass Club since July 2019.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? How much time do you have? I’ve served as COO/GM at Mission Viejo Country Club and the exclusive Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club in Silicon Valley. Most recently I was President of The Reserve, a private sporting club in East Texas. I also worked at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, and was with Club Corp for 16 years with most of the time served overseeing multiple clubs as a regional manager and Vice President.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Tin Cup’ — “When a defining moment comes along, you define the moment... or the moment defines you.”

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I enjoy skiing, playing with my dogs, and traveling.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I have a United States Soccer Federation National Coaching License.

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? Colorado Christian University; and I played four years of collegiate golf there!

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? I began as a golf apprentice, became a golf professional, then transitioned to Real Estate Sales and began my “second” career. I now administer our sales, marketing, and rental programs.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with the Club for 20 years and counting.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? Golf Professional; and currently I’m also a Managing Broker & Partner for Engel Volkers.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? My favorite athlete is Jack Nicklaus.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Jeremiah Johnson,’ perhaps Robert Redford’s most underappreciated role.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Golf, of course...and spending time with my family and one-yearold Harper Grace!

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I am hard working, dedicated and entrepreneurial.

The most important thing for myself and my team is for our members to look forward to any tennis-related activity, with the knowledge they’ll have fun as they also improve their game. We listen to our Members with the goal of building from what we’re doing well and giving attention to what might need additional resources.

MY SNOWMASS CLUB “INSIDER SECRET” We’re adding a state-of-the-art ball machine — with a working remote —for the indoor courts in time for the holidays! We’ll also have new ball machines for the outdoor courts, and our Pickleball facility will be updated and better than ever.

MY SNOWMASS CLUB “INSIDER SECRET” Be prepared — the Fitness Department is going to explode in the most positive way! A new Pilates studio with four Reformers is just one example. I’m also producing ski-conditioning videos our Members can access any time, from wherever they are.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? Most recently I was Senior Sales Executive at The Aspen Club for 10 years. In addition to private-club experience, I was a customer service and sales professional for over 15 years in the tourism and international business sectors.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Dirty Dancing.’

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I love snowboarding, hiking the “14ers,” (mountains with elevations of 14,000 feet and higher), and spending time with my family.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I love to travel! I’ve been to 27 countries so far... and counting.

We are always looking for ways to improve and enhance the Member experience, focused on our priorities of always making sure there’s someone ready at bag dropoff, greeting you on the way to the range, making sure there are balls available on the practice range, guaranteeing you can tee off on time, and making sure you and your group can complete a round in four hours or less. If any of these things don’t happen, I want to know.

MY SNOWMASS CLUB “INSIDER SECRET” The afternoons are a fantastic time to play the course.

I encourage our Members to bring their spouses and guests to play in the afternoons because there are a lot of consistently available times. Overall, we’ll be adding some great new, top-quality equipment, apparel and other accessories.

WHERE ELSE HAVE YOU LIVED? I was born in Poland, grew up in Sydney, and have also lived in South Lake Tahoe, Steamboat Springs & New York City. Back in Snowmass on my second stint (not going anywhere…).

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? Sydney, Australia.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? Traveling throughout Europe and working as a ski instructor in the USA after graduating from university brought me to the mountains of Snowmass originally. Three years in busy NYC plus a baby in tow later we decided we wanted to return to Snowmass for the amazing quality of life. I found the Snowmass Club and haven’t looked back!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with the Club for nearly 10 years.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I grew up working in all aspects of the retail industry.

Once the travel bug got me I worked various marketing/sales jobs in the NYC finance and fashion industries. I have worked my way through various roles at the Club, including Front Desk, Membership Sales and Marketing.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? Whatever team my daughter is on!

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? Is there just one? I have a LOT of favorites.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Cheering on my daughter’s sports and activities, spending time with family and friends, hiking, skiing and uphilling.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? A big city girl, born traveler (wish there was time for more) and citizen of three countries. I met my husband while teaching skiing at my third and final resort town and the rest is history. Never thought my happy-forever place would be smalltown living in Snowmass (but it is!). One day I hope to retire by the beach in Australia.

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? I grew up on a farm in northern New South Wales, but went to university in Sydney.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? Short answer: skiing and job opportunities (in that order, honestly).

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with the Club for seven years so far.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I’ve worked in facilities engineering, ski guiding and instruction, property management and the restaurant/catering industries.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? The Wallabies, Australia’s national rugby union team. We’ve won two Rugby World Cups; our arch-rival is the New Zealand All Blacks team.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Kenny’ — a very funny “mockumentary” about a Melbourne plumber, although that description doesn’t do it full justice. So popular Down Under it was also made into a TV series.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I LOVE dirt biking!

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I never give up, no matter the challenge.

MY SERVICE PHILOSOPHY I follow the “Enlightened Hospitality” philosophy created by restaurateur Danny Meyers. Essentially, we are all on each other’s side — my team, our Members, and our guests. We cultivate the sense of the servant’s heart, always promoting a leadership style that emphasizes being fully supportive as we perform at the highest level.

MY SNOWMASS CLUB “INSIDER SECRET” For the new winter menu we are introducing a miso salmon appetizer and a maple-cured duck entree featuring a wild rice and mushroom syrup. Trust me when I say they will be phenomenal.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM? The tri-state area/Northern New Jersey.

WHERE ELSE HAVE YOU LIVED? Colorado, Florida and Oregon.

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL? Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon; a Cordon Bleu program.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? I was at the right place at the right time. I tell people I came for the benefits and stayed for the people.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with Snowmass Club for three years.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I began at 2- and 3-star rated restaurants in New York and New Jersey in the 90s, then moved to Colorado as Executive Chef at The Greenbriar.

I later worked at restaurants in Aspen and Boulder before launching my own private dining service. All of this experience is culminating with my time here at Snowmass Club.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? The New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche NHL teams.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘The Wizard of Oz’ — a true classic.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I’m an avid fly fisherman and all-around nature nut.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? My first memories are of fishing with my dad and brother on the Ramapo river, two blocks from the house I grew up in. I stopped fishing when I was introduced to rock climbing, which became my abiding passion for 30 years. Once I became a father and “aged out” of rock climbing, I’ve picked up fishing again!

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I’ve been a backcountry guide, and I also have extensive hospitality and property management experience.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Top Gun’…and I can’t wait for the sequel.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I love mountain biking, skiing, wrangling my kiddo...and trying to keep up with my wife, Allison.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I began my career as a registered representative at a local financial firm in the valley. I then transitioned to Mountain Valley Development Services, where I worked as an HR Generalist.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? The Denver Nuggets.

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Friends’...and I have hopes for a reboot.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? I enjoy hiking, weight lifting, and time spent with family and friends.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I am fascinated by health and wellness. My hobby is learning more about how the body works, increasing longevity, and optimizing energy.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO SNOWMASS CLUB? I came to the Snowmass Club because I enjoy working in private clubs and I believe the Club’s amenities are second to none.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AT THE CLUB? I’ve been with the Club since August 2019.

WHAT’S YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE? I’ve worked in luxury resorts for the past 25 years, beginning with the Country Club of Charleston and later the Kiawah Island Club. I later worked for Caesars Entertainment, Moet Hennessy USA and Beam Suntory. Most recently I was F&B Manager at Viceroy Snowmass before joining our Club.

FAVORITE SPORTS TEAM(S)? The New York Mets...there’s always next year!

FAVORITE MOVIE OR TV SHOW? ‘Caddyshack’ — “Cinderella story. Outta nowhere.”

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN? Skiing and cycling.

WHAT IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU? I’m passionate about wine and spirits. I collect wine and whisk(e)y from all over the world and always incorporate a winery or distillery visit when I travel.
